Larry "The Easton Assassin" Holmes, using his 81 inch reach, could just sit there in a wheel chair and outpoint any young wanna-be's.

Dude, Foreman would make you his ***** inside or out of the ring, he would drop you before you know what happened, He is 1 of the greatest fighters of all time, and arguably the hardest hitter. Sorry but no, you'd obliterated in short order.

Foreman does look like he's aged a lot, and his knees are pretty bad now. He's walking a little creaky now, so, yeah, a lot of guys (non-professional boxers) could probably outspeed, outmanuever, and outrun him. But as far as punching, I don't think so. He's still a big, strong former professional prizefighter, and I'm sure he still knows how to FIGHT and not just box!

Foreman might take pity on me, but Holmes, forget it! Larry'd probably intentionally hurt me just for fun!

He'd be ****ed....... because he'd go to prison having killed me.

Jack Dempsey while in his 60's fought off a mugger, I suspect Foreman until he's in his 70's could beat most men in any room he's in.

You sparred with Foreman? Jeez, how did his punches feel like? So you've sparred with Wlad, Lewis, and Foreman? Who do you think hit the hardest?

Foolish thread, and didn't both to truly read what you wrote. Foreman in his old age still has heavy hands and would likely kill a guy that is...lets say 24 years old and just happens to be 5'10 and 11 stones. George might be old, but still strong as an OX. In a boxing match, Foreman would kill anyone on here. He simply needs just one punch and its over. Even in his 60's he would know how to pace himself. A young arrogant guy would think he's achieving something by lasting for lets say..4 rounds and Foreman is simply setting him up for the kill. In a fight, some might have a chance.

absolutely not true......... the first part is true. in a boxing ring with boxing rules he ko all of us. cause no matter how old he gets power stays very long.
but in a "normal fight" it is a different story. boxers or retired boxers are used to box... so they are not used to kicking and wrestling and biting all the things that happen in street or bar fights.
i am not saying anyone can or will beat george foreman in a normal fight. but a good amateur kickboxer with some good speed and a strong fast kick will have a chance. same for a good wrestler. if you are a big strong guy yourself and you can bring him down to the floor asap.

I get your point, but i still think it's harder again than you have insinuated.

You must be one helluva fighter to think you could beat George, even now.

Just because Foreman's in his 60s it doesn't mean he's still not way stronger and punch way harder than us average Joes. He still knows how to fight too. Obviously he would be even slower and more ponderous now than when we saw him in his last fight back in the late 90s, but he'd still be able to land at least 1 punch, and that's all it would take.

A 60 year old Larry Holmes hit the heavybag harder than anyone else I've seen in person, which includes current heavyweights Chazz Witherspoon and Deontay Wilder. I know they're not exactly top of the line, but I still was surprised due to Larry's age.

When Dempsey was in his 70s he knocked two would be muggers cold.

Even the smaller old guys could still most likely destroy an amateur, average joe, or street fighter. Even guys like Nino Benvenuti, Aaron Pryor, Alexis Arguello (at the point before his sudden death), Danny Lopez, and Bob Foster (I realize he's not exactly small, but he wasn't a massive heavyweight either) could still lay guy or two out if the need should arise.

Do you think George has never been in a street fight before? I think a lot of people forget that tons of fighters got into boxing because they were grew up in bad areas and were good at street fighting so they gave boxing a shot.
