Who says Floyd would fight Pacquiao anyway. Your all under this fantasy that Floyd is hunting down a fight with Pacquiao. When's the last time Floyd said anything about Pacquiao. Whens the last time he made any effort to make the fight happen. He's probably already got an opponent lined up. Your all blaming Arum for all his bull****, but that's exactly what Floyd has been doing too. Talking bull****. Floyd doesn't want it anymore then Arum does. And Arum isn't scared to put Pac in the ring wth Floyd, it's a business / ego thing. They hate eachother too much and they don't want to share profits it's that simple.

Bob Arum is making him look like a fool, yesterday was he is going to fight in May. Today (after hearing Floyd is going to jail in June now) it is he wont be able to fight until June.

Both these guys (Floyd & Manny) are going to fight this year and likely only a month apart, they NEED to fight each other there is no excuse.

Manny should force Bob into making this fight, if people didn't irrationally hate Floyd people would be calling Bob & Manny duckers! It's as clear as day that's what Bob is doing.

Btw everyone says Arm wants to keep it all in house, Floyd doing the exact same thing. Why do you think all of his oppoents have been Golden Boy fighters. He's getting the max amount of end profit. Your making 8 figures fighting GBP fighters like Ortiz / Marquez etc. Why the **** would you wanna go and not only take a risky fight agianst say a Pacquiao or Cotto and also split up the end profits. What's less risky and makes more money. Floyd's a business man buddy, "he's not fighting to prove to the fans who the best is. " (his words).

 

there is no point him even trying to fight a toprank fighter really, have you not seen how arum has it all worked out? pacman is the only toprank fight worth going after because of money and all but you cannot have a go at floyd for not fighting toprank fighters.

 

I'm explaining to you why Floyd doesnt want to fight Top Rank fighters, including PAcquiao, which is the same reason why Arum doesnt want his fighters fighting GBP fighters. It's all about money. Risk/reward.

 

btw you know why Floyd was asking for 100 mill a while back. He denies it but Roger even said it. It's bc he knows if he fights Pac that big pot is gonna get split up and he's not getting all of it. So he wants a guaranteed sum - a ridiculous amount.

Same reason why Arum wants to control and pull all the strings in the fight, so Top Rank gets the lion share of the end of profit. Same reason why Floyd says he's the "a-side" and wants to make all the offers. He's wants the larger share of the end profit. They can't negotiate with eachother. Both greedy, too much ego.

Pacquiao is in the middle of this and he just doesnt care. He's gonna paid , like a regular job. Arum is probably robbing him but it is what it is. If Pac was a free agent or with GBP the fight would definitely be easier to make. But that's only because Floyd knows he could make a lot more money that way and doesnt have to deal with another promotional company. And there's still that risk of losing.
