Thats very true man and I actually think when Khan got KOed by Prescott like Cotto it was more of a weight issue but in some of the other fights such as Maidana where he didnt appear as weight drained he still showed signs of a shaky chin but like you say you never know.
It may all be irrelevant as Petersen is likely to stop him next time they fight. He will start quicker and knows that he has Khans number.
I thought for a long time it would be inevitable that he'd go to 154,but it seems clear he's not even taking his old power to 140,never mind higher.Clearly not the formality it once looked.I doubt he'll have much power at all at 147.
I always felt it was more a mix of speed and power than an actual devastating punch he had.But he's not sparkled anyone for a while, and I'm not sure he would when it comes to "name" fighters.Unless he puts Peterson away VERY convincingly,I'd think about hanging round 140 for a lot longer than anticipated if I were him. And you're right Hook,it would be funny, but more in a "scratch your head funny" way.:good
i think he will dismantle peterson and stop him in under 10 rounds, willing to have a 2 week ban bet with anyone on who wins the rematch!
I think he'll win the rematch too, just not sure how.But all those plans for 147 look a lot more like a pipe dream to me now.If he's willing to stop playing the megastar, there are better fights for him at 140 than there were 6 months ago. Got a feeling Peterson had one of those "perfect storm" nights, and even though I've come to like him,I feel he may only have a couple of nights like that in him.
hmmmmm he will fight hell brook at 147 for sure at some point, the demand in the UK will be too much to ignore! i honestly think he will beat the living **** out of peterson
