got to laugh at kevin mitchell

Would love to have this fight at the SECC, braehead too far out with **** transport links, Kelvin hall too small, football stadiums in Glasgow to big. SECC is the perfect option IMO and I'm certain with the right promotion, this fight would sell very well in Glasgow. Scotland vs England thing, Mitchell being a little bit of a name etc.

Airdrie stadium would sell well as its just up the road from Coatbridge, but i wouldn't be keen on having it there. Though the hours of fun watching the Coatbridge and Airdrie young teams in numerous gangs fights before and afterwards would be interesting

 

From the pictures I've seen, the facilities do not look great. But I've never been to the stadium so I can't really comment. I've been to west ham on numerous occasions for football, and once for boxing, and it was pretty good from a fan point of view. It is within a 10 minute walk from 4 underground stations, it caters for 30,000+ people on a fortnightly basis. It just seems more logical, plus Mitchell is a good ticket seller down here.

I wouldn't mind Celtic Park, I wouldn't mind an indoor arena in Scotland. But I just don't see the logic in having it at Airdrie

 

burns stoppage??? Are u mad look at his stoppage rate last stoppage win i wouldent even class it as burns stopping cook it was an injury and i wouldent class laryera in the class of mitchell either if burns is gonna win it it will be on points not a ko/tko

 

Its a ten min walk from Burns house- if he cant sell tickets there whenre can he?

Watch the guy fight rather than look at his KO percentage, he is capable of stopping Mitchell and Crolla.

I'm not being funny here, but Airdrie stadium with 17000 tickets. Dont see that happening really :roll: If he is being chased down streets by young lads throwing bottles at him in his home town what chance does he have of selling those tickets :think


Plus free transport?? Come on, You dont even get free rail travel when Take That are in town :huh Selling out 50k + stadiums. Did they give the people of Scotland free travel when Tyson was in town :-(
