I really think one of our mw's should pick up a belt.

Burn's is guaranteed to be a title holder pretty much.

Froch will lose to Kessler and Bute

Cleverly will fight an easy fight then maybe unify with Shumenov

Khan will beat Peterson and take on Morales

Burns will win the vacant title and defend it against someone easy

Degale might take the regular WBA route whilst Groves waits for him to vacate the Euro belt

Barker could get a shot at upsetting sturm

Mitchell may fight Burns for the Vacant WBO

Chisora will lose to Vitali but will look better than most recent competition
its looking like an interesting year

I think a motivated froch should beat both bute and mikel but I cringe at the thought of him leaving his chin to dry against a sharp puncher like bute.

It all depends on what fights the promoters can get their fighters really.

Macklin will probably lose to Martinez, have a come back fight and chase a world title again. He has a good chance of beating Geale. Wouldn't be surprised if he took a fight with Jermain Taylor or Winky Wright as that would be a big selling fight.

Barker has just refused a fight with Lee on HBO so I doubt they are interested in a risky fight unless theres a title on the line. He'll probably have a come back fight against another Spada like opponent back in London then chase a fight with Chavez Jr, Sturm or Geale. Good chance of him getting robbed in the first two and I'd favour Geale over Barker. In all likelyhood, he'll probably be in around the same position this time next year. But more well known.

Khan will probably get a rematch with Peterson. Should he win, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Marquez fight. If he moves up, I think a fight with Brook in England will surely happen.

Froch has had his moment in the sun I'm afraid, if he wasn't such a ballsy ****er he could fight the Sartison's and Steiglitz's of the division and have success. Bute will probably beat him as will Kessler should he fight him. 2012 won't be a good year for him I reckon.

Burns will probably have another one or two handy defences and then fight Mitchell or Murray.

This time next year, we'll probably see a Frampton v Quigg fight.

Groves will be targeting the declining Froch this time next year I would think. As will DeGale.

Assuming he doesn't get knocked out, Fury will probably target a Chagaev/Adamek/Povetkin type guy. Basically any world class boxer that whose not a Klitschko. It would surprise me if he fought Haye in 2012.

Haye will get knocked out by Vitali and take a break from the sport for a while.

****** will protect the **** out of Cleverly. Won't fight Cloud, Dawson, Hopkins, Pascal, Sillakh.

It's a bit futile speculating tbh.

Do you really think Haye has a chance against either Klit? His performance against Wlad was painful to watch. I think Vitali would simply break him down

I think Haye has a better chance then anyone, I want to see how well Chisora does against Vitali before I say too much though.

Froch - If he fights Bute will never be a relevant fighter at world level again , he may fight Bute twice and lose twice , then if he hasnt had enough fight Cleverly @75 , lose and retire

Khan - Inevitably will be well matched and caressed into another world title , for the sake of British boxing i hope he rematches Peterson and beats him , as for his previous aspirations i.e. Mayweather and P4P status , well that surely would be a bridge too far for Khan

Cleverly - Whatever happens it will be entertaining , would like to see him fight Pascal or Cloud , would love to see Bellew 2 in Cardiff

Burns - Sorry but he's not beating any of the top LW's in the world , the Mitchell fight is a very good fight , one id like to see tbh , De Marco would be a great bit of match making but not an easy fight for Burns

    John Murray - Needs a break , a move to 126 maybe ??

Mitchell - Looking forward to seeing who Kevin calls out on twitter once he comes in off the **** :yep

Brook - Really excited about the development of Brook , i cant wait to see him fight a top tier WW , has the potential to become a world champion this year , providing they match him right

De Gale and Groves may fight again this year , hopefully they will

Macklin - is knee deep in the **** against Sergio

Barker and Murray will fight hopefully but i doubt it , Barker should of been matched already , inactivity again !!!! :nono

Scott Quigg will hopefully fight Rendall Munroe , in which im hoping Quigg puts on a bit of a beating , as Munroe has to be the most mundane fighter in the world

Jamie McCdonnel is in a WBC title eliminator is he not ??? :yikes

Whether he underestimates Bute's punch power or not he's going to struggle to outbox Bute. The speed/skill differential is ridiculous. Carl isn't a pressure fighter either, he needs some kind of foothold in a fight from the outside to wear an opponent down so thats a problem if he thinks he's going the Andrade route, even then Bute's much improved. Can't see how he beats Bute, doesn't have the power, the skill, the speed. All he has is will and will doesn't triumph over everything else that often, occasionally but not often. For all Froch's talk of power, and dragging Ward into the trenches, Ward showed you can put all that to the side and make a mockery of all that macho talk, skill is the most important thing.

Whats impressed you about Shumenov? I don't think he beat Campillo on either occasion and regardless he wasn't impressive. He seems to think its a crime to throw a jab, or set up an attack. Everything he throws is a wide hook, and then he unsurprisingly and naively runs out of steam. Not a big, big puncher either. Not impressed, I think Cleverley would outwork and outspeed him and fill in the gaps between Shumenov's random bursts, even as someone that thinks Bellew beat him.

I think Jacobs was a more impressive scalp than anybody Murray/Barker have ever beat to be honest. I think Pirog would walk through the pair of them, neither punches hard enough to discourage him. Murray would cause him no problem whatsoever because he is only capable of standing with him, and he's not winning that battle. Barker might cause him more issues but the Belgecham fight isn't a good omen. He's not just a plodder either, he's very unorthodox and hard to deal with.
