So in 30 years K brothers will be bums because they fought 30 years ago right atsch I like your "logic"atsch
Joe Louis wasn't a bum. Never said he was. Ali on the other hand was a media made man who was pumped up because of fake wins against Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier who was overrated to make Ali look better, and could thank "Allah" for George Foreman's ******ed trainer who made him cut weight which led to him being dehydrated and he hadnt sparred in weeks. That is why I have no respect for the Draft dodger.
It will be hard for Wlad to ever be rated very highly for a number of reasons. His early losses during a more competitive era hurt his claim for true greatness. While it is clear for any unbiased person to see that he is a much better fighter than he was during those early losses, to many they will have doubts of his actual ability due to the possibility that his dominance in this era is simply down to what is widely perceived as a weaker era. He lacks a signature win. Many achieve this by beating the former dominant champion, Marciano beat Louis, Ali beat Liston, Foreman beat Frazier and so on. Wlad beat a mere title holder in Byrd who was never regarded the best in the division. His fight with Haye could have been a signature win for him but the fight was a flop, neither fighter covered themselves in glory, for all Wlads dominance he seemed to coast and fought overly cautiously allowing an opportunity to look great by KOing Haye in the highest profile fight of his career to slip away. His lack of true dominance. His isn't unified champion, he gained dominance partly due to Vitali retiring. Is Wlad truly better than Vitali? Who is the better brother? We will never know if Wlad really is the best current heavyweight, could we say that about any other of the all time greats.
The Ring's top ten from 71: Joe Frazier: Champion. Blind in one eye, Couldnt fight today. #1 Muhammad Ali. Lost to handicaped Frazier. #2 George Foreman. Green kid. #3 Oscar Bonavena. 5'9 205lb club fighter. #4 Jerry Quarry. Smaller than a Cruiserweight today, cut easy. #5 Mac Foster. Never beat a top fighter, went 5-6-0 after 1970. #6 Henry Cooper. Old 50's fighter, 40-13-1 record, never beat anyone. #7 George Chuvalo. Never beat anyone. 65-17-2 record. #8 Sonny Liston. Had just been annihilated by Leotis Martin, mob backed. #9 Jose Ibar Urtain. Only top ten fighter to ever lose to Henry Cooper. #10 Jose L Garcia. lost to many club fighters, feather fisted fat boy.
Wlad has to beat George Foreman,Joe Frazier,Sonny Liston,Floyd Patterson etc. He also has to reign longer than Joe Louis and has to not get KO'd every time he gets hit in the chin,oh wait, too late. Wlad will never be the greatest ever. The only thing he will be able to claim is that he was once the heavyweight champion. Even he knows it.
he didnt fight and beat any of his contemporaries that were great like lewis, golota, bowe, tyson and right now there is no other great heavyweight other than his brother so it'll be hard for him... same thing with his brother who did fight lewis but lost :hat
