    For me:

First: Rashad (Don't know if he's fit, make him second if not)

Second: Phil Davis. Move him up if Rashad is out.

Third: Gustafsson. If Gustafsson loses between now and then, go for a Machida rematch assuming that Lyoto has rebounded with a couple of victories. (I think he will)

I don't want Henderson to get a shot at Jones, because I don't think Hendo can win, I think he'll get brutalized and I don't want that to happen to a 41 year old, post-Shogun Hendo. Henderson can fight anyone else IMO, but Jones is just all wrong for him. It's a shame he was just a year too late to have a real crack at the UFC LHW belt. :verysad

Henderson - Because I think he deserves it., even though I think he has next to no chance of winning

Sonnen - Because he has been calling Jones out, so give the man what he wants!

Davis/Gustafsson - Whoever is in better form at the time this fight is ready to happen, give it to him. Both guys bring something interesting to the table, so either one would be a good challenger. I expect Gustafsson will have advanced most by the time Jones is ready to face either guy

I honestly wouldn't bother with a title shot for Rashad, it's a waste of time. I really hope Davis beats him so we can get around having to watch Jones v Rashad. All that fight will be is Rashad getting hit cleanly, shitting his pants, trying to survive, and getting brutally stopped not long after. It'll be a whitewash. Rashad has nothing for Jones in any area, and doesn't have the chin or heart necessary to make a fight of it against Bones.

Hendo, Evans and Lil Nog. If he beats all those guys he is the new P4P #1.

    Bonnar, Bader, Shogun, Jackson, Machida....

That will probably make him the greatest light-heavyweight ever if he completes that string. I feel like I'm am way early for for making that statement, but it is not his fault that he is doing this so easily. If his last few fights had been very competitive against the names he has faced, he would seem like a no-brainer as the best ever if he were to defeat the following.

Henderson is 7-1 since losing to Silva.

Evans has looked as good as he has ever looked, and still only has one official loss on his record.

Nogueira would just be a refreshing change in opponent type, plus he isn't a slouch by any means.

And Brock ran from the challenge! He'll come back from life-saving surgery and fight Overeem, but he wants nothing to do with Chael. That's gotta tell Anderson something. :yep

Well then let's hold him to it from now on. If he calls for Jones, give him Jones!

Until Jones beats PRIME SHOGUN he is a fraud. A FRAUD!

    1. Hendo; He should fight him first because Hendo isn“t getting younger and could lose his next fight if Evans gets the title shot first
    2. Rashad/Davis winner
    3. Gustaffson at the end of 2012: he should fight 1-2 times before he gets a title shot.

Evans - rivalry, trained together and Evans can strike and grapple

Henderson - deserves it but other than a right hand should get dominated

Gustafasson or Davis - tall guy or wrestler. both good prospects who in a few fights may have improved enough to be ready.

    Henderson in March/April

    Davis/Evans winner in July/August

Gustafsson/Nogueira (not an official match but makes sense) winner in November

Hopefully by then Silva would be ready to move up and we can get Jones vs. Silva for the 2013 Superbowl show.

I don't think Bones or the UFC should be in any rush to move him up to heavyweight.

Look at the list of potential fights to have over the next 2-3 years:

    Hendo
    Rashad
    (Sonnen? Anderson Silva?)
    Davis
    Gustafsson
    Machida II
    King Mo Lawal

All of them could conceivably be made by the UFC at 205.
