http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/cagew...31.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Jon Jones wants another four UFC fights in 2012 http://www.espn.co.uk/ufc/sport/story/129289.html
i don't even know if there are four fights for the guy... hendo, evans (which i doubt will ever happen), davis? um...eventually gustaffson (or however u spell it)?
Nogueira should be considered as well. He's the only pure jiujitsu fighter that can challenge Jones in the division. He just needs one more fight against a top opponent.
i forgot about him....i guess he could round out the 4 since i don't think evans will ever come to fruition
I'm not a mind reader so I need more than a smiley to understand what you're confused about but just in case what I mean by pure jiujitsu I mean that he will go for chain submissions on the ground not just look to stand up. It goes without saying that Lil Nog is a skilled boxer.
i think the UFC will really start to try and promote lots of up and coming 205's to fill out the division.
Hendo deserves the shot. After that, I'd like to see Bones vs Sonnen. Obviously Rashad (if he beats Davis) deserves a shot at 205 more than Sonnen, but I really hope people understand what a complete wash-out Jones v Rashad will be. Rashad will get hit once, become terrified, fight to survive, but get brutally stopped very quickly. At least Hendo and Sonnen will keep right on truckin after they get hit, and will take the fight to Jones. Sonnen has been calling Jones out, so I say give the man what he wants. Hopefully Rashad loses to Davis so Jones-Sonnen can happen. After Hendo and Sonnen, I'd like to see Jones fight Davis and Gustafsson, each of whom bring something interesting to the table. I don't want to see Bones leave until he has properly cleaned out the division, like an ATG champion should. King Mo may also have become a legit contender by then.
This content is protected I love it. He wants to fight all the best guys out there, and he backs himself to finish every single one of them, and he wants to prove that he can do it. And I don't see many problems for him either, if he doesn't get some bad luck. If Henderson is the first fight, then all respect to the legend but I don't see him doing any damage at all to Jon Jones. Rashad might be a good fight but Jones is just as likely to **** him up with ease. Davis might be a dark horse, he looks like a beast to me, but you kind of expect him to get Hamilled or Badered. But the fight with the most potential might be Gustafsson towards the end of the year. Two quick fights for Gustafsson, two good wins and if he has the right mindset and believes in himself then the two of them could make for a brilliant fight. :hat
I think Hendo is going to get the title fight that he's always talking about. Probably going to get knocked out. Should be fun while it lasts.
