Tell that to the Floyd fanatics.
They're the ones who came up with that leftover **** to try to discredit all of Manny's wins.
Well Tito fans invented it, *****s went mental defective extremist with it.

Another good thing about a Cotto-Mayweather fight, these same clowns calling Cotto damaged goods vs Manny will be silenced for eternity. As will they be about Manny's catchweights if Floyd fights Canelo at a 150 catchweight, which is being discussed over at the scene.

What do you mean by make sense? Sergio Martinez is a better fight. It would be Floyd's best win if he was to beat him.

You all are crazy if u think Cotto is a worthy opponent for Mayweather. Both Mayweather fans and folks hoping Cotto wins just because of the fighter he used to be. Hes not anymore and he will drop a decision in a biring game of potshot. If hes picking less than prime opposition, I guess he shouldnt mind fighting Sergio Martinez if hes virtually a nobody according to Floyd.

I'd like to see this fight made. Floyd obviously the massive favourite. However Cotto is coming off of a good victory over Margo which would generate massive interest from casual fans. The 24/7 could play up each of their histories in the WW division to make the fight seem more competitive than it is. It would be a nice big payday for cotto before he retires. I love cotto's warrior mentality and would like to see him get some good money before he sails off into the sunset.

Cotto could have completely recovered physically after he fought Margarito the first time, but he fought Pac and that just made the his situatiin worse. One bad beating a tiufh fighter can shake off with some time, two bad beatings in a row can break a fighter down over the long haul

Of course he is! He is the top 154lb fighter and the best at 154.

He is the #3 draw behind Mayweather and Pacquiao-

This fight, on a May 5 date would do great #'s and is nothing easy for Floyd-

Cotto would put EFFECTIVE PRESSURE on him-IMO, this could be a painful fight for Floyd.

With that said I believe Floyd would stop him in 11. I think Cotto would get hit THE ENTIRE FIGHT, how he got hit by Judah....I think he'd give Floyd everything BUT all he could handle-

    Floyd TKO 11
