funny how the decisions are nearly made yet Arum still has yet to get to land in the Philippines...and the first time in YEARS , he fights in june rather than may....this is pretty obvious

and since when do they care about LIVE gate? 18,000 is more than enough....money will be made on people around the world ordering it...not 10,000 extra 75 dollar nosebleed seats

Las Vegas cares. More people equals more money, from the major casinos down to the hookers at the strip.

This is why this stadium-building excuse has to be the lamest in history.

The revenue he collects from an extra 30,000 seats at even $100 apiece on average ($3M) MINUS the money that he spends to build a temporary stadium (???) will be what?

And why is less than $3M enough money to actually hold up a fight that could generate $200M in PPV alone????

Only a ******ed jackass actually believes this is a legitimate excuse for postponing a fight on

    just stop it.

If the fight happens in Vegas, that place will be packed to death regardless of a stadium or not. The weekend itself would be an event like no other.

And since when did Bob actually care about the people of Vegas? :patsch He was trying to move the fight elsewhere.

Conjecture, it's more logical to say that there's an assured 40,000 descending in Vegas than assuming Vegas would be packed irregardless. I said Las Vegas cares therefore the mention of trickle-down economics. What Bob cares about is money, and staging historic events, eg Thrilla in Manila. A stadium fight jam packed with 40,000 fight fans against the two greatest in this era generates a shitload of money and I imagine a Superbowl-like atmosphere. And I care, 40,000 seats at least assures me I can afford to fly out there and actually watch it live.

    OFF THE STRIP

that does not help the casinos

10,000 extra broke assholes in the nosebleeds of a stadium that only exists in the twisted lies of bob arum are not helping the casinos

:lol::lol: This is pathetic. You really believe Bob gives a **** about making this historic? He only cares about the money.

And about that conjecture... You're sitting there writing about how you "imagine a Superbowl-like atmosphere" :patsch
