I belive that it is reasonable waiting that Pac`s cut is healed before
facing Floyd. Look what happened to Margarito`s damaged eye
    when he faced Cotto.

There is a 0.00001% chance that Floyd-Pac happens in May, let alone May 5. People need to face that.

I personally have my own opinion (as do we all) on who is to blame (at least, more so than others).

But the fight ain't happening next. Hopefully end of the year, but we've been hopin' for the past 3 years. So I ain't gonna get my hopes up.

I think Pac will fight Bradley (have thought so for a long time), and it now seems to be in June (now that Mayweather is fighting again in May). And I personally lean toward a Maidana fight for Mayweather on May 5 (with a Mexican stacked undercard), although it seems his next fight will be announced prior to Maidana's fight with Alexander, so that may rule him out.

If it walks like a duck, and quacks "talk to my promoter", chances are its a duck.

If he fights June 9th, it'll be vs Miguel Cotto. Promise you.

ETA: I agree though. **** 'em all. Just sign to fight. Everyone (including those 3) know that they'd be making millions and millions. And even in a loss (moreso for Manny than Floyd, but even so for Floyd), their legacy will look better for the fight taking place regardless of whether they win.

There's NO reason for this fight to have NOT happened so far, and not to NOT happen very very very very soon.

I think it's fair to conclude both fighters want the fight but arum is getting in the way.

Realistically pac should sack arum and become a free agent but I can't see it happening.

I'll just hold out for pac v marquez 4 and floyd v cotto.

    Again, I agree with you.

Let these fights happen in May and June. Let Floyd do his time in June.

At the latest, he'll get out early August and have 3 months to prepare for a potential november showdown between him and Pac.

Another fat old piece of **** in Arum keeping boxing fans away from a fight. **** them boxing promoters, there needs to be a boxing league. Like the UFC, NFL or something there needs to be a governing body over the sport so these greedy old ****s get out of our sport.

If it doesn't happen by the end of the year I can't see it happening at all.

I'm not convinced that pac is past his prime but his last couple of performances haven't been impressive imo.

I think it's already at the stage where the fight won't be considered 50/50. The ideal time, imo, was when floyd beat mosley and pac beat clottey.

If pac looks good against jm the hype train goes into overload again and all is forgiven. If he doesn't, well let's hope he writes it off as a style clash and goes all out to secure the fight with floyd, even if it means binning arum because I feel if he looks like he's slipping consistently his career will come to an end.

I'm going to try to avoid being a suck-up, but again, I agree with everything. Without bolding and highlighting pretty much each part of your post.

Let's just "hope" (which in this whole saga seems to dwindle day by day).

And I'm not blaming anyone specifically. Each party has their own role to play in making this fight happen (Floyd-Pac I'm referring to, btw). But as do everyone, I do have my own personal opinion as the main road block. But it's certainly not black and white, and as I said before, each party has their own part to play.
