    Anyone at the open youths this weekend ??

    Heard a lad from Corinthians Carthy only in his 2nd and 3rd fight is through to the 81kgs semi finals, some going for a lad only boxing 9 months supposedly .

    Magees fight wiht Markussen is off it says at the scene .

    Its a load of bollox supporting boxing every fight seems to be called off or postponed these days .

    The Open Youth Competition has now progressed to the semi-final stage following a marathon session of quarter-finals bouts at the National Stadium today.

    Twenty eight contests were decided after five hours of boxing.

    European Youth bronze medalist Joe Fitzpatrick was amongst those booking his ticket into the last-four, the Immaculta BC clubman scoring an inside the distance win.

    David Roche is also through to the business end of the tournament,. along with his Riverstown BC team-mate Eugene Brady.

    keep an eye out for patrick mcdonough from sunnyside the ****ers as strong as a as hes liable to get into to much and can be picked off though

    Could it be that after a year of calling out Anthony Fitzgerald we could see Fitzer accepting the challenge of Ryan Clark with the pair meeting on the undercard of JJ McDonagh v Lee Murtagh ???

    Your showing your ignorance their my man,if you knew half the **** Big Bang Casey and his family have caused in my City of Limerick you wouldn't be a fan either,people used to say Ted Bundy was a nice guy also!!!!!!

    Is anyone betting on the Leon Williams/Shane Philbin contest. Can't help thinking there is going to be an upset win for McPhilbin [assuming that shane is the underdog, as there are no odds up on the fight yet]. I've a feeling there could be decent odds on a McPhilbin stoppage here. Anyone else got an opinion on this.:hi:

    have the say that irishboxers fella who ever he is comes out with some bizzare pieces on his website
    i read it beacause im interested t see what lads might be fightin soon but the drivel on his site is actually the worst pieces ive possibly read on the internet
    clarl v fitz is a fight boxing needs etc
    clark will provide a stern test for fitz ..hahah i mean clark is 2 and 50 sumtin does boxin really need this fight
