Firstly I take my hat off to Sonny Bill..
His fighting a guy with 40 plus fights, fought for multiple titles, fought the best in the australasia region.
He has 4 fights..no am experience etc..
This is a massive massive step up in terms of experience..IMO the only advantage SBW has is age and conditioning...
Id say SBW will win though.

Now...If he does win the New Zealand Title...does he became the greatest athlete New Zealand has produced?...
Rugby League international (won a comp,Four nations also?)
Rugby Union international (won a World Cup)
    New Zealand Heavyweight Champ.
I dont think there has been a athlete in new zealand history who can match those achievements?

How many more experienced players has Sonny Bill run rings around on the rugby field? Experience is only useful if you have ability to go with it.

The answer to your question is no.
That honour goes to middle distance runner Peter Snell.
Voted " NZ's Sports Champion of the 20th century "
3 Olympic gold 1964 and 1968 and 2 Commonwealth golds.

Have to agree that SBW beats Tutaki for the title.

Missmatch on experiance? Did you not read the list of fighters that have had their way with this guy? DeMOri knocked him out in one round and im supposed to get half a horn that the guy is fighting SBW? did i miss something?

Dont give me 4 fight crap, the guy is a main event headline, it matters not his experiance only his preformanced matched by opponent.

Do you really think SBW would fight a guy whos a danger? Lets take a look at the last blokes record he fought shall we..

Lucas Browne knocked this guy out twice, however SBW went the distance , couldnt knock the guy out and won on UD. If the karnt wants to have a go fight real fighters who will give him a crack not some cherry picked bum, may as well just give him the title but its not about winning the title, its about milking as much cash from deluded fans like you! :hi:

Richard Tutaki had lost 2 out of his previous 3 fights by stoppage when he met Mark deMori. It's actually a prerequisite for deMori opponents to have lost 2 out of their last 3 fights by stoppage, and applies to 8 of his past 9 opponents. The odd one out was only having his 3rd career fight :patsch
