Agree, El Maachi won prizefighter and his name gets mentioned in the same sentence as Brook. El Maachi wouldn't get past 6 with Lynes, Purdy, Hatton.
You can see why Eddie would talk about El Macchi - after all, Prizefighter is his baby and he needs it to be taken seriously. Imagine the press future PF winners would get if there was a regular president of previous winners going on to fight for world titles? For Prizefighter to continue to be a success, and perhaps to expand globally, it needs to be proven that winning the tournament creates a star, not just wins £32k. Obviously El Macchi is no way deserving of a shot at Brook, but he would only be of a similar outsider as Karpency.
now im not sticking up for clev one bit,but at least karpenc has fought for a title,i don't think el machi has fought for one yet has he:think(apart from prizefighter) ps,i don't mind el macchi, but he is not world class:thumbsup
This, you are spot on. If it was El Macchi then i would be dissapointed in Eddie and then people could accuse him of being a hypocrite, but it wont be,it will be Hatton which is fine and 10 times more interesting then the Clev fight.
I'd be disappointed if it's Yassine but it's actually a dangerous fight more dangerous stylistically then Matthew Hatton. I prefer Kell to fight Matt cos it would be more attacking fight rather then two guys sitting off being wary of each other which i think would happen if Kell fought El Maachi.
witter and kell fight in the same ingle gym so cant see it been him at all! they are sparring partners for gods sake! im pretty sure its matt hatton
