Everyones blaming Arum , but where is Floyd? I don't hear him callign out Pac. I don't see him pushing for negotiations. It looks like he's already got an opponent lined up for May 5, and probably has for some time.

What was the last thing he said about the fight? "I'm being sued, so I can't fight." "I'm the A-side , I make all the offers"

This is also the same guy who said: "We're not fighting to prove who the best is"

    and

"I said I'd fight Pac becasue that's what my fans wanted to hear."

He doesn't want to fight Pac. He's making a ton of money against easier opposition. Why would he risk a fight with Pac when he's making 8 figures against the likes of Ortiz? Ask yourself that question.

And the bottom line is him and Arum dont wanna do business with eachother. They don't wanna share the wealth, and they both wanna control everything. It's greed and ego. Even if Pac convinces Arum to pursue the fight there's no way it's gonna made. Floyd won't go for it, and they're just gonna disagree on everythign anyway.

What can Floyd do besides setting a date, venue, calling him out publicly, directing his team to contact Top Rank and make the fight, delaying his jail time so he can keep May 5th??

What else can the man do??? He even met with your heroes Falcon Hawk to try to make the fight!! Isnt that what Arum said? Isnt that what Koncz said??

You are aware he did MOST of that with jail looming in front of him?

Or are you just gullible enough to believe he was caught off guard with not only the sentencing, but the postponement of said sentance as well? :patsch

He delayed his jail time and already had an opponent lined up, it's obvious. May 5 was the date of his next fght, it could have been against anyone. He 'called out Pac' but he also said he cant fight him because of the lawsuit , and that only he gets make all the offers. He flip flops from one side to the other, I mean which one is it.

Of course it could be against anyone, but his team wanted it to be pac, hence why they reached out with the judge only to be told bob arum is pursing a marquez fight yet again. So what you want them to do, wait until arum changes his mind.

What you need to remember is this, the majority of boxing fans saw pac lose to marquez and the ones who scored it for pac learnt the truth that pac would get picked apart by floyd. Floyd doesn't even need to fight pac no more, he get's the win without even stepping into the ring, it's for pac to prove he can beat a master boxer like mayweather.

Does floyd want to fight pac? YES.

How badly? He won't lose any sleep over it put it that way.

Ellerbe said if Pac wants Floyd, Arum would have to call him. Leonard not exactly taking any initiative to even attempt to contact Team Pac.

hey, thats a good question for all *****s, if Manny can say he wants to fight Floyd, how come Floyd can't call out Manny answering him back. I just want to hear from Floyd again saying "Manny Pacquiao. you're next" for the 2nd time and see if he can do it again on video.

Well here is the thing: Floyd obviously was negotiating a plea deal with the DA. He knew he would have to do SOME jail time, but obviously he had a plan to try to delay the sentencing IF it would interfere with the May 5th date, which is what any smart person with a good legal team would do.

Floyd knew there was a good chance he would still be able to fight on May 5, and now he will be able to. Arum is already on record, according to a retired Federal Judge, who said Arum was not interested at this time. What else can Floyd do??

Floyd being caught off guard was not even mentioned in my post, WTF are you even saying??

And setting the date and venue is part of negotiations, not something you do before and then say someone is ducking you if they dont fight on that date.

See, when you do this you make it easier for Bob to do what he is doing.

What makes you think Pacquiao wants to fight Mayweather?

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum has added a "Countdown Clock" to his company's website indicating how much time Floyd Mayweather Jr. has left to accept a Nov. 13 fight with Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas.

If mayweather didn't wanna fight PAC before he certainly does after watching him get tooled by a lightweight.
