Its Been reported from my Hometown WFMJ News that Kelly was leaving This past weekend to Train With With Robert Garcia in Cali! A possible fight March/May against TBA.

Garcia has expressed his concern of Kellys drinking more than his ability to box. He is eager to Help Kelly get away from drinking and help him to get his life together more than training him! (I think that is great).

Garcia has been quoted saying "He is gonna make Kelly Half Mexican" like he has Nonito!

Who would you like to see Kelly fight? Assuming he is returning to 160 like Dunkin has said?

Really don't know. It should be Bute as it was planned for last year, but without that failed tune-up it could be too early yet again. On the other hand can Kelly even be motivated for a $50k tune-up? Can he get back on major TV? How good is he physically? How much time will it take to settle in with Garcia in Cali? Opponent depends on many of these questions.

Anyone really, I wouldn't complain if this fight completely sucked. As long as he fights a solid step up around summer we shouldn't expect too much from him in his next fight

I'm not sure if Pavlik should risk looking average, or worse, washed-up, against a 'tune-up'. People would write him off once and for all. He would probably be better moving directly to a legitimate contender. If he wins decisively, he's right back in the mix. If he loses, it's back to Ohio. Pavik v JCC Jr., Abraham, Sturm, Macklin....lots of good choices.

As a longtime Pavlik fan, I just want to see him get his life in order and step into the ring. As long as the opponent has a decent record and is ranked in the top 10-20 by one of the alphabet groups, I'll be fine.
