Boxing fans will accept anything. I use to think it was the promoters now I realize it is the fans who have ruined boxing.

I'd be happy as **** for Guererro, and just like I said to people before Peterson/Khan, he would represent himself well and would be a tougher fight than some act. Ask John Garfield how he looked when in with Manny. I'm a Mayweather fan, but I'm also a Guerrero fan and to discount him fighting anyone 147 down is ignorant.

Robert couldn't/wouldn't lose worse than JMM did...no disrespect to JMM, but the categorical dismissal of Guererro yet acceptance of JMM is ****ing crazy. I think Robert is better than JMM as it stands today, and would handle himself just fine with anyone 147 down.

****ing Cotto...SMFH, people talk about "problems with boxing", why the **** would anyone want to see Floyd/Cotto at this point in time? Cotto is finished, and has been finished, and that's no diss on him he was a great champion and I have nothing but respect for him. That said do you honestly believe he has a ****ing chance against Floyd, honestly? He's made his money, he's tasted greatness, why would anyone want to see him get paid again, as opposed to a guy who's busted his ass to get a once in a lifetime opportunity to get paid, who if your honest with yourself has just a good of a chance to beat PBF as Cotto does. I understand it's not a "sexy" fight, I get that, but outside of tricking the casuals, neither is Cotto. You have to watch the Manny/SSM, PBF/JMM, etc type fights because of this kind of thinking.

I would feel greatly disappoint. There are better fighters who can be more competitive than Robert Guerrero such as Sergio Martinez, Saul Avarez, and Miguel Cotto.

    Exactly!

Why is everyone crapping on Guerrero? He is young, hungry, fast and slick. On top of that he has the physical dimensions to actually BOX with FMJ. Without needing to cut he may even come in stronger and faster!

No matter how you slice this? It is a quality "in the meantime" fight with a GREAT upside if the Ghost where to win.

Cotto and/or Canelo aren't a greater challenge than Robert...simple as that. Martinez, sure absolutely, but Ghost has just as good a shot as Cotto or Canelo, and I consider myself a fan of both of those guys.

In the middle of a bunch of personal drama you do.

No shame? Coming from a moron who supports LESS drug testing in professional sports during the enhancement age. Oh the irony...

The crazy thing is, it's not as absurd as some act, to think Robert could win. He's a damn good fighter, and everyday that goes by...PBF gets a little bit older. Not saying Robert wins, but personally I would be damn happy for Robert.

glad you have so much stock in a feather fisted guy who isnt even a champion in his on 135 pound division. youre right, its impossible to lose any worse than the former 126 pound king JMM , because he got shut out every damn round :rofl
aerent you just a little bit ashamed of him picking on a guy 2 weight divions below him that holds a ****ing interim title? :rofl

floyd fights once a year. there is no need for "in the meantime" fights.
