    According to various reports, Lucian Bute may be fighting Carl Froch next.

    I'm sure one fight will be made but that 2 fights deal won't be necessary!

    Froch decide to cash his name , he probably think he can win as usual when facinf the top. If Ward say Bute need to face Froch before to fight him , Ward will have to realize that Bute beat his oppenent better then Ward do. I don't say it mean Bute is better then Ward but it will play in Ward head!

    I was thinking the same.

    Bute has already beat a Ward opponent, Edison Miranda, better than Ward beat him.

    I thought Bute beat Bika by a wider margin than Ward did.

    The early rounds of Bika-Bute were competitive but then Lucian figured Bika out and swept the last 8.

    The entire Ward-Bika fight was competitive, and the scorecards were ridiculously wide. The referee was clearly shady, ignoring Ward's fouls while harshly admonishing Bika.

    Isn't this the date Kessler is fighting Stieglitz on?

    Showtime double header starting with the Kessler fight (delayed/recorded)?

    Thing with this deal, Bute can't call Ward out after the first fight as he must go to England defend the title first. One would hope that Ward actually fights Kessler in the summer, and sets up a 3 belt vs 1 belt full unification showdown in Dec 2012 or something.

    That would be ideal, but I can't imagine Ward fighting outside the USA in Denmark.

    I said "actually fights Kessler in the summer", and it could take place in Las Vegas for instance. The money Sauerland would have for Ward would then not be as high as it would for a fight in Denmark, but I believe that's a fight Ward wants to make.
