Can't see Shotime wanting to commit to 2 Froch-Bute fights before they've even seen how the first pans out.

Froch will be getting paid very well for these two fights I sort of see him cashing in while he can, probably fights a contender like Bika or someone similar and gets 200k, fights Bute twice probably gets a couple of million.

I think Bute is to quick for Froch but I see Froch having his moments.

Froch could have fought a guy like Noe Gonzalez who is ranked #3 by the WBC or a guy like Nikola Sjekloca who's ranked #4. Or guys like Edwin Rodriguez ranked #5 for his US fans or George Groves #6 ranked for his UK fans. I'm guessing with any of those fight he would have become the new mandatory to Ward.
I don't care much about Froch's career tho so this is the fight I want the most.
    Bute can break him tho.

Hopkins himself said he signed a 3 fight deal with HBO before his rematch with Pascal. So that is 2 fights down, and 1 to go. Bute is a showtime fighter so that fight can't happen unless HBO/SHO work out something.....which after Hopkins last PPV, I doubt they would be willing to do.

Healing the broken finger than Stieglitz I believe.
Can he get out of the signed contract with Stieglitz ? The Russian-German might accept for a decent fee.

Why would he want to do that, Kessler beats Steigletz then defends against cans in denmark for another couple years, makes some decent dosh then cashes out when he's ready to retire.

Bit puzzled why showtime would prefer Hopkins/Bute I know Hopkins is a pretty big name but potentially this fight could be a stinker surely a Froch fight is more aesthetically pleasing I would have thought.

I was thinking the same add to that Froch has been on SHowtime solidly now for what best part of three years? In mostly fan friendly fights. Weird if true.

Could be that Showtime would prefer Bute-Hopkins/Ward-Bute rather than Bute-Froch/Froch-Bute.

Only one fight I'm interested in: Ward Vs Bute. If Hop' can finish up with HBO (Clev' or Shumenov? Dawson II?) then, if he wants it he canface the winner, who would've cleaned house at 168 and actually has business moving up to 175 (**** the catchweight)
