This isnt Boxrec. I remember all five! First Golota humilliated Riddick Bowe, then humillated him even worse in the rematch.
Then Brwester gets lucky against Wladimir after being rolled on the mat like a gutter drunk, then Brewster annihilated Golota in one round.
Then a 100% Wladimir made Brewster quit sitting on his ass after just a few rounds proving Brewster was never on Wladimir's level and had just got lucky the first time...

 

What a terrible example. atsch I'm not going to say Wlad was drugged, he could have been, but who knows. Whatever the case, Wlad definitely had a fluke medical event of some kind during the fight, and it had nothing to do with what Brewster was doing in the ring.

 

The referee had as much of a claim to stopping Wladimir as Brewster did that night. The rematch proved Brewster wasnt in Wladimir's class.

I watched the fight last night, Wlad did run out off gas surprisingly but wht the **** had referee to do with that???How it is his fault??

 

Really? Thats not what I saw when I watched the fight, could you expand on that idea?

 

It wasnt the referee's fault! Neither was it anything Brewster done. That's the point!

 

Wlad had trouble and wasn't feel well in the 2ND ROUND. Nothing Brewster did in the ring caused Wladimir to start feeling ill.

Now, I don't know what it was, could have been poison of some type, could have been a fluke medical event...whatever it was Wladimir was not his normal self..that's very apparent to see if you take your "hater" glasses off and just look at the fight and the facts.

 

Nearly any of the lads you mention could possibly beat Wlad.

But which ones would be favoured on a given night ?

Certainly not Ernie.
Ken would have a better chance but Wlad would still be favoured.
Ron Lyle ? I'd bet on Ron.
Smokin' Joe ? a 50/50 proposition
Big George ? Big George wins.
Jerry ? I'd favour Wlad.
Chuvalo ? Wlad on points
Young ? Very much depends on which Young shows up. But in general, I'd bet on Wlad.
Mac ? Wlad again.
Oscar ? My money on Wlad.

Williams and Patterson ? Wlad in both cases.

Liston ? Definitely wouldn't bet on Wlad here ?


Clark ???

I'd say it's a safe bet you never saw the man box, other than perhaps his second round loss to Ali.

So, while any of them might beat Klitschko, I'd expect him to lose to 3 or 4.

 

I must disagree. After seeing what Gerry Cooney done to Lyle, I wouldnt think he'd have a chance vs Wladimir.

Liston couldnt take a slapping punch from Ali. What would the Steel hammer have done to him?

 

Wladimir Klitschko himself said Lamon Brewster beat him fair and square.

**** off with all the excuses, it makes you look like spastic, drooling ******s. Take it for what it was, a loss and a learning experience for Wladimir.

Publically saying that...it's called being a good sport and just letting it go....doesn't mean it's what he REALLY believes.

SOMETHING was definitely wrong, was it poison, was it a fluke medical event? We'll probably never know.

I lean towards a fluke medical event. However, Wladimir's head of security was recently interviewed by another website and he stated he was convinced that Wladimir was actually poisoned, and that they now take extra precautions with the food, drinks, etc...
