This content is protected Severn has the Greco Roman and Amatuer wrestling credentials and size to match Lesnar. Neither one are punchers
I started to just say Severn when I read this thread title, but then I thought about it for minute. Severn was completely outclassed by Coleman. Coleman was world class, Severn had a lot of success at he national level. Lesnar was a NCAA champion, so they should be fighting at a fairly even skill level. I think Lesnar would have a lot of trouble against Severn early, much like he did with Couture. It's just the Beast really wasn't a good finisher. I think Brock will eventually get a chance to put Servern on his back, and that's when the fight ends. Severn would not have the defense to withstand Lesnar's ground and pound.
dan severn weighs about 240 lbs vs brock lesnar who walks into the octagon at around 285-295 physics would tell you that brock would win and also because dan severn has average striking.
nah bobb sapp is **** has no skill or power. Mirco broke his orbital. Difference between brock and bobb sapp is brock knows how to use his weight bobb sapp doesnt.
I think Brock was bigger, stronger, more explosive and with heavy hands. If he is GnP then you are in pain. When standing his technique is average but he can still drop Mir, Couture and Herring.
Why obviously? Dan was an Olympic calibre wrestling alternate and one of the early UFC tournament winners. He also had an excellent arsenal of subs. Bet your life head to head he wrestles Brock into 'bolivion' and subs him with his patented key lock.
This.. You people.. Need to watch some footage of Severn. Just two years into his career (95) and he still had the edge in experience.. No doubt in my mind he would outwill Lesnar.. His grappling was far more advanced, not to mention having a submission game. This is a guy who would end up fighting 60 minutes in a 3 man tournament, win, and go on to outpoint Shamrock over 30 minutes in his next fight. Severn is a different animal who had the edge in cardio and experience.. Y'all musta forgot or never knew until now.
