The fight is not gonna happen unless MANNY SAYS " BOB ARUM, I will not fight again unless its against Mayweather."

Pretty much my stance on it to a degree. If Reps from both sides actually put the fight together I dont think either fighter would have a problem with fighting.

Arum seems a little too happy to not make the fight for me. He is being pretty blatant now with what he is doing.

Obviously Floyd wants the fight-hopefully Pac steps up to the plate-been proving a lot of these posters wrong in this-

People been tellin me for days now that "Floyd ain't said nothing so he don't want it"..lmfao

u fools were all owned-whatever the case-Floyd do want the fight-WHY THE FUK WOULD HE NOT WANT THE BIGGEST MONEY FIGHT OUT THERE-

HE WILL TAKE HOME MORE FROM THIS FIGHT THAN ANY OTHER FIGHT OUT THERE...THE NEXT BEST THING IN TERMS OF BOX OFFICE AND MONEY WOULD BE A COTTO MAYWEATHER FIGHT.

"I am sick and tired of Bob Arum twisting the truth. It's another case of 'yesterday I was lying, today I'm telling the truth,' " Schaefer said, invoking Arum's most famous quote. "The truth of the matter is that we received this afternoon an email from retired federal judge Daniel Weinstein, who has informed us that Top Rank is pursuing a rematch with Marquez and, therefore, is not interested in immediate talks for a possible Mayweather-Pacquiao fight. This is obviously as clear as it can be that they have no intentions of making a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight. Therefore, Floyd Mayweather will have no other choice than to move on and identify and lock in another opponent for his ring return on May 5."

"Judge Weinstein is respected by both parties and mediated issues between Top Rank and Golden Boy before, so the plan was to see if he could help facilitate such a fight. Floyd's team really wanted to get this fight done," Schaefer said."

Arum is in the Philippines this week, meeting with Pacquiao to talk about his next opponent. But the list of possible opponents Arum cited did not include Mayweather. Rather, it includes a rematch with junior middleweight titlist Miguel Cotto, whom Pacquiao stopped in the 12th round of a 2009 welterweight title bout; Marquez, for a fourth time; or a fight with junior welterweight titleholders Lamont Peterson or Timothy Bradley Jr.
After Mayweather's sentence was delayed, Arum said he was not interested in talking to Pacquiao about fighting Mayweather in May.

"We're fighting in June, one of the four guys," Arum told ESPN.com last week. "My mission is to go over to the Philippines and talk about these four guys. If Manny feels he wants to go in May, he will tell me. I want to make sure Manny's cuts are healed. We won't fall under this kind of pressure. June is much more likely for Manny's fight, not May."

It was just this week that Arum said he would go to the Philippines to meet with Pacquiao and present him with the names of four possible opponents for May or June: Miguel Cotto, Marquez, Lamont Peterson and Timothy Bradley Jr.

Arum figured Mayweather would be in jail and off the table. Now that Mayweather is available and seemingly would like to make the match, Arum suddenly isn't interested.

He used the lame excuse of the cut Pacquiao suffered against Marquez, saying he might not be ready for May. (I've never heard of a cut taking more than six months to heal.) However, earlier this week, when Arum thought Mayweather would be on ice behind bars, he said there was a good possibility Pacquiao would fight in May.

Moments after Mayweather was granted the continuance, Arum changed his tune.

"We're fighting in June, one of the four guys," Arum told me over the phone. I asked him, now that Mayweather was available, would he at least be part of the conversation when Arum meets with Pacquiao next week? A perturbed Arum's response was, "Absolutely not. Nope."

Come again? You won't even talk about it with Pacquiao, I asked very politely.

"My mission is to go over to the Philippines and talk about these four guys," Arum said. "If Manny feels he wants to go in May, he will tell me. I want to make sure Manny's cuts are healed. We won't fall under this kind of pressure. June is much more likely for Manny's fight, not May."

So May was a real possibility yesterday, but now there's no way?

"What if they fought and Manny started bleeding on the first punch?" a clearly flustered Arum said. "I don't know if Manny is available to fight in May. I have no idea. I haven't talked to him; I haven't seen him. Seems to me, June is more likely based on what his plastic surgeon said."

    http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/7433886/blame-bob-arum-no-manny-pacquiao-floyd-mayweather-fight

It's stunning that anyone would attempt to say "Contact Manny's people/Top Rank/Arum and start negotiationg"...**** outta here as if they haven't reached out to Arum...SMFH. Manny's ducking it's simple as that, and if you refuse to accept it, you're dumb as ****.

you're right and at this point, this is the only thing pac has left to do, or else, he looks like a complete coward. how can you agree to fight bradley or peterson or cotto or marquez when mayweather flat out called you out.

Which is odd since Roach said in the beginning that testing would not be a problem at all.

    :deal Rustbelt is on point.

Of course, it would have been nice to hear something from Mayweather a couple of years back. I guess Manny slowing down has given May more balls.

*******s need to just suck it up and realise. ITS ALL ARUMS FAULT NOW! Give PBF his credit for Publicly calling out Manny! If Manny is half the man Outside the ring he will make it Clear to BOB that he wants Mayweather ONLY!

When Arum knew PBF was going to Jail he was more than willing to take MAY 5th at MGM. a day later a Judge FREED Mayweather until June 1st and now suddenly MANNY's Cut is a problem!
