I'm not trying to belittle the heroic efforts of Black Americans to gain a level of equality. I lived in DC for a few years and spent countless hours in your beautiful Library of Congress (wish it was my library) so I'm fully versed on the subject.

yes. what other word do you want me to use? do you want me to say the russians did more? maybe if you measure it in death toll. I don't I measure it in terms of whose resources actually brought an end to the regime most effectively, and those were the americans.

(I like how you ignored my above first post, but anyway...)

Is this why parts of the world still blame the US for WWII?

Because, according to many out there globally, the US left Germany in shambles and never interfered with them again between the times of WWI and II, forcing a destitute Germany to re-ignite the war effort.

Or, are you making the claim that America is somehow at fault for attempting to help re-build German industry after WWI?

    Which one is it, bro?

    X 2

Anyone who doesn't agree is, um, uneducated on the topic to say the least.

though clausewitz would not be privy, his theories still apply. Your link is interesting but where's the bibliography? secondly, it states clearly that some government officials reaped the benefits. that's a far cry from saying the american governent supplied both sides during ww2, like you asserted earlier. to answer your last question, no, not until they commit an evil act, but when they posture themselves to commit an evil act.

Instead of fighting over which countries did more, why not just agree that germany lost? And well thats just fine.

:rofl that's funny man, but they started the anti-american sentiment, and it disgusts me because i'm american and we contributed a whole lot to the toppling of the nazi regime.

What the hell are you talking about? Did you take my post to mean American's thought that way at the time of WW2? Because my post related to Americans I have conversed with on the subject personally, which is a great many as I spent many years attached to US military units in my employment.

As for the Russia, UK, USA all needed to band together to be the Nazi's. Where did I refute this? I simply wrote that the turning point/defining action of the war was marching on Russia.

and I have no anti-American sentiment. I lived there, I worked with Yanks and I'm a fellow native English speaking "Free Worlder" AND I am aware of the ties that bind in the West and our success is due in no small part to the actions of the US.

If you're still reading this thread I'd appreciate it if you read the rest of my posts. This was never about putting down a nation.

that's all well and good, if your not trying to belittle the battle to end systematic discrimination and dehuminization, what's this? "Intense descrimination" Poor baby." that alone, most definitely say's otherwise.

Just one more question. Have you ever in the line of you extensive studying encountered the notion that american landing on the continent was anything but to prevent russians form taking over the said continent?

didn't say it directly, but hailing the russians as the main reason the Nazis fell when it's historically inaccurate basically implies it, not to mention going into the darker side of america's history in an attempt to overshadow clear american heroism in WWII.
