what's the cost to build this temporary 50,000 dollar stadium...4 million bucks?

Arum is full of ****. No one builds a temporary stadium in Vegas..

The guy is something else. He actually said on January 5th, that he would have Pacquiao fight Marquez on May 5th. The very next day, when Mayweather had his sentence delayed and was now available on May 5th, Arum said that Pacquiao wasn't available for that date. It does not get more blatant than that.

No one will answer this because there is no reasonable answer.

If you have to spend 4 million to make 10 million, you build the stadium.

    Takes money to make money.

    Few points:

    - $60M gate is a ridiculous target. I doubt these numbers are based on anything other than hyperbole.

    - Building a temp stadium to a strict end of May deadline is risky at this point. Will Mayweather receive insurance covering any construction delays? That's a very important issue.

    - Despite any 'late May' text message reference, Arum - who calls the shots - has stated that June 9th is his preferred date. Shame Floyd has an existing engagement from June 1st. Wonder if Bob knows?

    Bottom line is this:

    1. No stadium will be built
    2. No fight will be made in 2012

The MGM was completely sold out in the JMM/Pac III fight, try again!

You have to know how stupid you sound. Arum went around telling everyone that Pacquiao would fight May 5th if it were against Marquez. Once Mayweather got his sentence delayed, Pac is now not available until June. So it's obvious that the date isn't the issue. So why exactly should Mayweathe spend more money to get his sentence delayed again, break his agreement with the MGM Grand, and risk pissing off the judge, just so Team Pac can play more games in order to prevent the fight from happening?

Did Arum not say (when it was thought PBF was going to be in jail) say we are "married to the May 5th" date if we are fighting JMM, yes or no?

Yes, but does that mean you can attract 20,000+ more fans the next go-round?

Maybe Arum thinks the answer is "no."

It's funny. Pac comes out with a statement that he's agreeing to fight Floyd next. Yet somehow detractors lose sight of that and focus on stadium talk. **** could be in my backyard for all I care (in fact that would be nice). But WTF people?

I'm glad Pac said he wanted to fight Mayweather next. But it's pointless considering his side wants to do it on a date when Mayweather won't be available. What would you say if Mayweather called out Pac but said Pac had to have one arm tied behind his back? Callouts are pointless when they come with stipulations that make the fight impossible to make.
