I thought as much, which is why it's odd Arum is still talking about the cut and Pacquiao saying the cut is fine and Arum saying no way to May 5th and Pacquiao saying May 5th is cool. :patsch

The only reason for the stadium talk is so Arum can try and convince Pac not to fight on May 5th while throwing a roadblock in front of Mayweather

It quotes like this that actually make Arum (and Koncz) appear as if they believe this fight will end in a Pac loss, which will ultimately effect his future earning potential (which I disagree with), and they're trying to get as much money as possible.

This fight will easily generate the most in boxing history if it's held on May 5 at the MGM.

Using money as an excuse in a fight of this magnitude is a bit lame.

Even if Pac were to lose to Floyd, a fourth fight with JMM would still do very well IMO.

Just because Floyd has a tentative date means NOTHING. Again, Nate Jones said nothing has been agreed to. "“I don’t think Pacquiao’s going to agree to everything on the table yet.". Are they making him a 'take it or leave it' offer or are they willing to negotiate. Jones agrees May 5 is too soon.

Both sides are posturing. Remember, nothing happened previous because Floyd was supposed to be in jail. Nate Jones is giving his opinion based on what he hears and knows.

if you're going to go in circles, I'm just going to end this conversation. I don't like repeating the same thing over and over

You sound like a ****ing idiot steadily posting the opinion of "Nate Jones" the janitor as if he's got some real influence or say so on PBF or his decisions.

Nothing more to say really. Time is short and there is not adequate time for negotiations. One side would have to accept the terms of the other. I don't see that happening. Read the whole article. Nate is in a position to know and is being rational about this.

Jones had been corresponding with Mayweather, as is often the case with the two friends, and points out that Floyd seemed ready to go through with his impending time behind bars.
“We was talking back and forth all this week,” Jones finished up. “Just real short. He was saying ‘This time is going to happen. I’m going to do what I gotta do Nate’. I asked if he needed me to talk to him but he said he’d be ok.”

So, someone close to Floyd puts out a reasonable interview and he is demoted to "janitor"? He's sounds like he is giving a reasonable view of what is going on BEHIND the scenes. The "players" are all posturing.
