My first thought when the judge let Floyd delay the jail time was Floyd-Cotto. I've always thought Floyd would beat Cotto, and Cotto-Margo II didn't do anything to change my mind on that score.

Cotto is his back up plan. Bob better put up in the next week or Mayweather walks with a Cotto fight.

 

I've heard from another source in the industry that Cotto may sign an extended contract with Top Rank and not go with the fight by fight basis. So, that would pretty much kill Cotto vs Mayweather.
