It's definitely worth a try for him. Shur he's tall, so he'd fill into the weight no problem. Also, he's had some relatively close scraps with JJN, who imo has a good chance of winning gold at the olympics.
Lads, any update on McCloskey's opponent? I remember Hearn and them saying way back they had booked the Odyssey for the 18th of Feb but with no opponent named at this stage I wonder will they wait and try and get on the Macklin undercard in NY.

Quillin is really skilled in my opinion. I think Lee will have to be at his best. However, I think lee's power and chin will be like nothing Quillin has met before so this has all the makings of a cracking fight. Lee by UD

It is certainly a 50/50 I think. I mean Quillin loks awesome. One thing about Lee though - the one reason I alway felt he wasn't performing like we knew he could was cause he seemed to let the big stage get to him. After the Vera fight though I think he has conquered so many of his demons and I hope i'm right in thinking that he will be at the best of his ability. If performs like Vera rematch than Lee, just like Quillin will give anyone a fight at 160.:goodon a side note though Lee is screwed if he beats Quillin cause nobody will want him after
