Has your opinion changed about who is at fault for Pac and PBF not fighting?

First, I am a fan of both Pac and PBF and kinda hated the idea of my two favourite fighters going at it. From the beginning I always knew the biggest stumbling block to the match-up happening would be Uncle Bob. However, due to recent events I have to say Pac is starting to look increasingly at fault. He seems to be acting like nothing but a puppet for Arum.

My question is due to recent events, has your opinion changed on who is at fault and to what degree?

Both sides at fault. Both want to make more money before eventually facing their most difficult opposition ever.

At first I totally blamed Mayweather. Then shifted to 50/50 between him and Arum. Now it's 20 May, 80 Arum.

I think Mayweather waited Pac out, so he's not faultless. But I think Arum is the one stopping the fight now.

I've always blamed both sides and still do.

Mayweather appears to want it now, but he could just be pulling a PR move here, with his other fight almost set, making it look like Pacquiao is avoiding it.

I don't think either side has given me much reason to give them the benefit of the doubt and make me say "they truly want the fight". There's been too much posturing and PR games.

Words are just words, I don't think that much of them, I pay more attention to when I hear reports of serious attempts to negotiate.

I think they've always been fine with taking easier bouts for less money. Keep in mind, that "lesser amount" of money is still a ridiculous amount.

This sounds about right for me, with the exception of I always semi blamed Arum.

Now I totally blame Arum, and indirectly Pac for not stepping up to over rule Arum.

    I have.

I used to believe Floyd was the one to blame. But it has become evident Arum is a hurdle unable to overcome. I dont blame Pac, though. Arum is playing him, and it aint Pacs fault he is stupid.

I think Floyd ducked until Pac suddenly seemed human against Oscar. I dont think he ducks no more.

I knew Arum likes to protect his top fighters and have them fight in house so he gets a bigger payday. I also knew that there was no love loss between him, PBF and oscar so it would be hard to put together from the beginning. I might have given both sides the benefit of the doubt early on but now it is clear it is Mainly Arum and Pac really isnt stepping up

Arum was always an obstacle. Pac needs to realize that an agency relationship is a two way street; no different in real estate.

I might have the exclusive right to list your house, but if you tell me you like an offer and direct me to sell it, as your agent, I am supposed to follow your directions. I can advise you against it, but a the end of the day your direct orders are to be followed.
