Holyfield was 39 when he beat Ruiz and 38 when he fought Lewis, that's longevity on the level of both KBros, not to mention he was fighting in the early 80's. Just because time finally caught up with him, at around the age of 41 i might add doesn't make my point any less valid. If Vitali started getting knocked around at 44/45 if wouldn't make his achievements any less impressive in your mind I would assume, so why does it with Holyfield?

If anything the fact Holyfield nearly, and arguably should have taken a share of the Heavyweight titles while being nothing more than a "punching bag" proves the era that the Klits have ruled has been exceptionally poor, no?
