Hope this is wrong. Even though it would be an optional defence should Geale beat Adama I would rather Daniel fight others maybe even Macklin,Barker in Engand. Or Andy Lee in the U.S or Pirog in a unification bout as have been mentioned. not Wood or Soliman please Gealey please for the love of god Gealey don't do it.:patsch

I hope Wood knocks him out.

So Garth Wood is the next best thing since sliced bread and beating him gets you a WT shot? did i miss something :huh

In between mandatory fights Geale may well do what most other titleholders do and tackle a few lesser lights. Wouldn't like to see him fight Wood, but a Soliman fight could probably do fairly good business in Australia, even if the prospect doesn't excite some of us.

Mundine knocked Soliman out, who wants to see Soliman fighting again? the bloke is almost 40, he should have hung them up after he got iced by Mundine.

Its for the bullsht interim IBF Pan Pacific middleweight title. I doubt very much that its an eliminator for a crack at Geales title but whatever sells more tickets i guess!

Thats the same " Title " Geale held 11 months before he got the crack at Sylvester. I can't see how they can justify it, just sayin. ;)

Just publicity bull**** IMO. Sam is sitting @ #2, so why would he need an eliminator against Wood, who ain't rated??

Also, official eliminator doesn't require a title, but incurs sanction fee + IBF's junket boys as did Geale/Karmazin

time: 2:30 | referee: Pat Russell | judge: David Denkin 106-103 | judge: Joe Garcia 108-101 | judge: Robert Hoyle 109-101
official IBF middleweight title eliminator. supervisor Ray Wheatley

One could say it's an eliminator, but not official.
