Why doesn't Floyd wanna make more money?

let me explain somethin about that date, everyone knows May 5th is the biggest date in boxing. Arum is butthurt cuz floyd snagged it first and he wouldnt dare to try to compete with him on the same date. Floyd wants pacquiao to fight him on that date but arum is desperately trying to move it by making these excuses. but the thing is, if team pacquiao ducks floyd, he still has that date to fight someone else. arum wants an in-house top rank fight with his mexican fighters on that date but floyd is ahead of the game.

if i were floyd i wouldnt fall for this later in may bull****. what if the stadium isnt built in time? on top of that, that means floyd was lying to the court about a may 5th bout and has to ask for EXTRA time to recover from injuries when theyre already postponing his original sentence. u cant just play with the law like that. floyds been screaming about May 5th for months now. why the hell is there a problem all of a sudden. this is a duck move by arum, plain and simple.

I asked elsewhere if theres a way in which Floyd could keep May 5th locked at MGM with first dibs in case he moved off the date in attempt to make the fight so Arum couldnt pull the ol switcheroo and snag it after Floyd moves off.

 

Maybe Floyd thought over half a year was enough time for them to figure out what they wanted to do.

A better question is - Why does it always have to be about maximum revenue? Why can't it be about getting two guys in the ring to fight? Neither party is starving. They will make enough money. For once we're seeing Mayweather not overly concerned about money. We shouldn't question it. Otherwise it'd be like asking an overweight kid why he's not eating cake in his room when he's planning to participate in an outdoor activity.
