Groves vs Anderson 2 - Anderson now Groves' mandatory

Mid Feb for this i think,in a non scottish venue ;-)

Maybe nigth before the chisora fight ,as BN have that one free.

So why did you change my post?

 

I'm not so sure Groves is really a different fighter nowadays like most think, I mean go rewatch Smith-Groves round 1 and you will see.


That said i am choosing to have faith, ill go with 8th round stoppage for the saint

 

I don't think many believe he is a different fighter, he's just growing and improving but is still essentially the same fighter.

He's doing it the right way, clearing up domestically, taking his time while still taking challenging fights at the same time. I'm liking Groves' approach.

 

Groves is actually highly skilled, with speed accuracy and good counter punching, but hes very quick to throw all that out the window, the one thing missing from him is poise but hopefully its coming to him now, Anderson 2 is a good chance to see how hes coming along

 

Groves or Dirrell? :think

 

Belive it or not I think that on pure skill both of those guys are two of the very best in the division, but they both lack different things, Dirrell lacks self belief and Groves lacks self control.

As for a fight, I'd take Dirrell right now, but if Groves shows up with his head screwed on he's one of the only ones in the division that could beat Dirrell.
