I like Cayo's style. His fight with Peterson was very good.

Wouldn't your Joan Guzman account have been better for this post, Chris?

I find it funny that all of his alts are named after boxers.

It makes it so obvious to know who he is.

you would like to think cayo's boxing style would suit him against the pressure fighters as he has good lateral movement with fast hands, but when he faced the likes of maidana and peterson who bought the pressure he folded. its no shame to losing to both them fighters but i expected more from him. i would tend to think if he gets a W against guzman then for me he vs morales would be the best option for him, morales would go in favourite but cayo would be a live underdog.

i was a big guzman, have always believed pacquiao has avoided him because stylistically he would bring hell to him. i've been very dissapointed with his career and the lack of dedication he has showed. could have been a very special fighter.

Where u hearing this? I'm reading that Cayo has yet to agree but
that this is scheduled for FNF and therefore would be in the US.
Is there a new report on the island?

Cayo has come up short (proving to be competitive but outclassed) both times he's stepped up before...but for some reason this feels winnable for him. :think Guzman is aging and has been inactive and struggling with weight.

It's a good fight. Clears up who the best Dominican light welterweight is, and the winner earns a solid foothold in the top ten and perhaps wouldn't be far off from a title eliminator.

I can't see Cayo landing anything on Guzman. Of course, I'm thinking of the old Guzman. I haven't seen enough of him lately to make an educated assessment.
