I haven't got that, no atsch Why haven't I?!?! atsch I will upload Zamora-Sukhothai at the weekend :good
cheers buddy, been trying to do some research on him tonight, thinking of doing an encyclopedia entry on him
I have 17 Tiger fights, any of them not on YouTube? Only fights I've watched lately are guys that're about to be on FNF's, been a bit arduous in some cases. Thinking about getting some Maestrito on tonight.
Oh, Briscoe is in the same vein as a Carter-type danger, any takers on who takes a war between those two?
Same as me then. What are your thoughts on him? Top 5 middle for me, ****ing nails and tremendous puncher.
Don't get it mixed up, dude. I may have 17 of his fights, doesn't necessarily mean I've watched anywhere close to all of them. Still struggling when it comes to knowing anything about fighters pre-modern era. Tough as a brick shithouse, determined, perhaps a little bit quicker(EDIT: in terms of handspeed) than I might have initially thought when reading about him before I watched him and the descriptions of his style, etc. His handspeed isn't something you'd usually associate with a power puncher who was a bit lumbering. I don't think anybody could've brawled with him and won, not Briscoe, not nobody. Slow and as I said lumbering footwork hampered him I think, and he wasn't a particularly great finisher either. If a guy was willing to stand and trade within his range then they were a goner most of the time, at the very least they'd receive a pretty comprehensive battering, but a crafty or perhaps sleek-footed adversary would be one he'd have difficulty with, the fact he threw a lot would provide an awful lot to worry about, but he'd still struggle to keep an intelligent mover pinned down in my opinion. Decent defensively too, a very big presence physically and a tight guard made him almost even more imposing, because it wasn't like the guy was just walking straight into punches. He could slip in between his own punches too, pretty responsible defensively actually for one with such a high workrate and aggressive style. No idea where to rate him to be honest, I'm nowhere near qualified enough to even speculate.
Nice explanation flea. Eithe way thats an amazing win on Carters esume:good Speaking of tiger, honesly im not too familar with him but I might have a look at his fight with henry hank soon. Just found it on the tube in great quality.
I haven't really seen enough of him to say one way or the other.the saijo and Marcel fights are the only ones. It would be nice to see his fights with Dejesus and Cervantes.Excellent wins on paper but with a hometown suspicion possibly hanging over them? Two forgotten but very interesting fights anyway.Gomez being one of the last to beat either one before they really hit their peak.
