He is pretty much done right?

Apart from fighting lower ranked 147 guys and taking fights with new 147 fighters (Khan in a few years possibly)

they both NEED this win if u think about it. hopefully the winner will fight the winner of Alexander vs Maidana. Berto Vs. Maidana make it happen

Ortiz is still a young guy and like him or hate him he's a pretty exciting guy to watch. I'm pretty confident that Berto will win the rematch but Ortiz will still be a viable opponent for a lot of big fights at 147 for the next few years with Bradley and Khan moving up. Plus he got a lot of exposure during the Mayweather fight so he's more of a household name than probably even Khan is in the States anyways.

No he can get a big money rematch against maidana, as he is surely getting jobbed in st Louis. Or if the fights not a one sided beatdown for him, why not Ortiz/Berto 3?

Actually it depends on HOW he loses. If he get's brutally ko'd , dominated & embarassed then yes, but if it's a really close fight or maybe even a controversial loss, then he'll be fine. actually they may be talking about a trilogy just to even it up.

this...plus if fight 2 is anything like fight 1 we have a trilogy worth getting excited about and these trilogy wars work wonders for boxing and rake in the casuals

and if Ortiz loses in a way that redeems himself from his big **** up vs Mayweather he will have opportunities

he is a young and exciting fighter who can be humble, bold, and even stupid

this guy will continue to generate interest and attract name fighters to fight him

now if Berto loses again he may very well be ****ed

Rios vs Maidana is a bigger fight than Ortiz v Rios

Maidana is a much harder/tougher guy

+ he can make 140 (which is where Rios is moving)
