This one I'm not so sure on.

Ward has proven to be very adaptable and excellent at applying educated pressure, but I think he could have some problems with Bute's short power punches and angles on the inside, the uppercut in particular.

I think next to Pac/Mayweather, its the best and most interesting fight that can possibly be made right now. They are definetly two of the best in the world. I simply don't understand the so called fans who act like they don't want this fight to happen RIGHT NOW while these two still have their health and are performing at such an elite level. I've seen so many potential great match ups crumble in the 90s...hate to see more go down the toliet.

Yeah, and Gauthier was also the "house guy" on the Interbox show.

BUT, all of that doesn't necessarily mean squat.

    Big picture.

Molitor is by far the more established name than Gauthier. His promoter (Bob Arum) has a shitload more clout than Interbox, who put on the show.

Ditto for Lou DiBella - promoter of Allan Green, who is also purported to have received a gift decision as a visitor against Sebastian Demers on that very same card.

Being "at home" did not protect Gauthier and Demers that night, nor is it a safeguard for really any boxer, ever.

There's more to look at than just the obvious surface issue of Home vs. Away.

"Oh, so and so is at home so if anyone is getting robbed it isn't him". Nope. Not so simple, not always.

As much of a robbery as Shumenov-Campillo II was on "neutral" turf, Campillo-Shumenov I was one as well - and in Shumenov's backyard. Cory Spinks got screwed over in St. Louis on a Don King promotion against Phillips. There are many other examples.

In terms of ring years and hard battles was more what I was referring to.Getting a year older when you're 34 can take a lot more out you than at 29 or 30.Surely you know what I meant Sabs?It wasn't some pre-emptive excuse, but I don't think someone at the stage Froch is at should sign up for TWO very taxing fights, one right after the other. One fight with Bute at an agreeably neutral venue would tell us all we need to know.Bute could use this as an opportunity to prove he'll travel to less welcoming venues, but I don't expect that nor would I complain if he didn't.Froch has been through much, much more in the ring than Bute has, hence the analogy referencing "youth"

Wow talk about emotional ,look im calling you a homo for riding Bute's dick ! Whats wrong can't take it but can dish it right

Your calling everyone else duckers yet your hero waited on the sideline for over a YEAR ,While the men handled their grown folk business in the RING !

No one was hating Bute until little fan boys like yourself called Andre Ward a ducker ,and tried to questioned Froch's level of comp .Yet these 2 took on the best and your boy fought NO ONE up until this point that was on the level of the 2 mentioned ! Its not hate its FACT ! Know the diffrence fan boy !

    :rofl :rofl :rofl

Bute Haters have been going strong for about 2-3 years now.

Ward prefers a bigger build-up for more cash, that's perfectly understandable. What baffles me is why he didn't show any respect to Bute, where as Dirrell just said on OTR that Bute was a "top notch fighter, a champion". Ward flat out said "You know what???? Bute needs to beat somebody. That's right, I think Bute needs to beat somebody" after the S6 final.

Again, War Pissed Off Bute

(who said he would KO Froch...)

    -:|

    -I haven't called anybody a ducker.

-Bute hate started long before Ward declined his challange. Hilarious, you have a ***** laundry list of **** that you can't possibly apply to me. Find the posts please where I've said these things...I'll wait.

-And sorry, if you trash talk a fighter relentelssly and say **** is never going to happen while I'm telling you it is I'm going to call you a **** dick riding ****** when I'm once again proved right and you are stuck with your foot in your mouth saying..."uh, well, uh, finally, I give credit." **** off.

Where has the hype about Bute come from? His stunning KO's of....Mendy, Miranda? There's a reason why this guy is so protected, and has such carefully matched opponents. He won't step in with Froch or Ward anytime soon, they don't fit the criteria of a Bute opponent.

Avatar bet? VS Froch within next 5 months? :?

The 'hype' is endorsed in the form of Bute being in the SMW top 4 of almost all experts top 10.

I won't avatar bet on whether a fight is made. I give you my word, if Froch and Bute do fight, I'll put on a Bute avatar if he wins, and vice versa?

Yeah I'm up for that. Bute UD through superior handspeed, footwork and counterpunching abilities, but I'm actually rooting for a KO/TKO.

Good luck to you and Froch. :bbb

Nice one :D Really hope this fight does come off, I'm a big Froch fan, and we find out if Bute warrants the hype.

    Bute by wide UD

Call me crazy, I think Kessler has the much better shot at beating Bute than does Froch.

Kessler presents more danger to Bute than Froch but Bute will still be favorite.

I've got to agree, here, N. Faster, better defense, and a better chin. Even faded, he has that over Froch, imo.
