Young George Foreman would have stopped Evander Holyfield in his prime.

If every single Lineal Heavyweight Champion in history, at their absolute peak, were put in a round robin tournament and they all had to face each other in a short period of time Mike Tyson would accumulate the fewest losses.

Roy Jones Jr. won a CLEAR decision against Antonio Tarver in their first fight.

Floyd Patterson would have given Rocky Marciano a run for his money.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. H2H is just about even money against anyone from 130-154.

Bernard Hopkins has become truly overrated, based on longevity alone, rather than quality of opponents, at the time and place he faced them. Great fighter, great boxing talent and brain, but still.

    Okay...here I go fellas:

-Primo Carnera would be as great as Wlad if he had faced the same competition.....
-Resume is overrated, H2H matters more.....
-Prime Roy Jones Jr would beat Bob Foster, Archie Moore, Ezzard Charles and Billy Conn....

If you take the 10th Legion away from Caesar, Pompey would have wrapped him up in under a month. Sorry. Couldn't resist. Won't happen again.

I sort of agree that Mike, in his prime was one of the best heavyweight ever. I don't rate him that high for his career, but he was amazing in his short prime. However, too many great fighters would be stylistic nightmares for him, because of their height.

I can't see him beating Liston and Foreman, for example. I looked at Liston vs Patterson 1 the other day and saw why Mike would've never beaten Sonny. Liston kept the jab low at times, which totally neutralized Patterson's bob and weaving.

-Jimmy Young would defeat Vitali, befuddle Wlad, and givem Lewis a run for his money
    -Jermaine Taylor was overrated
    -Hopkins is a hypejob
-Akeem Anifowoshe would've been as good as Sandy Saddler and would've been an ATG had he lived.
-Both Klitschko brothers are overrated and aren't top 10 material.

I think that's pretty unpopular, people usually think Taylor is underrated or some kind of elite fighter

 Give it a few years, mate. Look how funny people find Neanderthals, now. ...With the brows and the stupid, thick, bowed thigh bones. :rofl

    Ahhhh, we have fun.

-Yes, using the power of laughter, like Marshall did to Liston. I can see it. :think
-I've always liked Taylor, really, but I don't place him as an elite fighter, historically, at all. He seems like a great guy, though, and a very good athletic talent. Some of his game is even excellent, when at his best.
-Fokin' 'ell, I thought I was being controversial. Man, I'd never go that far, if being serious, anyway.
    -...Hmm...
-I've only seen diehard Klit fans put them in the top ten. I've never seen even one poster I think has a track record of impartiality on them do such a thing. If non-fans were doing it, I'd agree they're overrated. They're pretty damned divisive, though, on this forum. I know that.
