love the fight. cotto is my favorite fighter currently, but, cotto is shot. hes too stationary for pac who is fast on his feet. then, again, pac loves fighting shot fighters

 

That's a positive sign but....is it really news? How many times have we heard that statement before?

I would like to hear something promising like, "We are very close to finalizing a deal. Contracts should be signed shortly."

I don't think that's a lot to ask for, especially when we've been waiting for ages.

Well Pacquiao was declaring that "negotiations are almost complete" back in December when absolutely everyone knew nothing was happening at all.

 

The Cotto fight is right up Pacquiao's alley. He loves unneccesary rematches. He hasn't had a knockout since the last time he fought Cotto a couple of years ago. This will be a good chance for him to get another unnccessary rematch under his belt, and maybe secure a knockout. Maybe after that fight, he can dig up Barrera's corpse, and fight him a third time.
