Ward is going to school Bute when they eventually meet. The difference in class will be apparent from the 3 rd round on.:deal Ward much like PBF doesn't look that special until you're actually in the ring with them. Then you're shocked at how technically good and smart they both are and you find yourself in awe and getting frustrated outboxed beat up and down on the cards as well.

Bute is a horrible hype job, I fully expect Ward to completely embarrass him.

    Mr. Magic.

Look the Bute-Johnson first round again

At the end of the first round Bute has landed a great body shot and Johnson from the beginning of the secound round was so hesitant to let his big right hand go. His right elbow was on his body for the rest of the fight.

Bute is an all different animal than many fighters because of his power and his accuracy to the body.

I agree , Froch will not expose his liver because he will go down big time if he does.

The problem is that he will be careful with his right hand and he will put his right elbow on his liver for a big part of the fight. So he will not be as efficiant on the attack.

it might be the case for Ward. However i see Ward winning 116-112 against Bute

Froch might not be as aggressive with his right hand as he usually is, but he's got a very long jab which he landed against Ward from time to time.. so he's not reliant on his right hand to land all the time.

You're right, its not only a weapon Bute uses, but he makes the opponents wary of throwing their right hands, I agree with that.

Bute backs up in straight lines, he leaves his right hand low on purpose to lure in slower fighters to throw their right hands. The thing is, there are so many gameplans Ward can implement. The only reason Froch stayed in the fight with Ward is because he's a mentally strong individual, I think Bute will get exploited, fold under pressure and Ward will completely and utterly school him.

Me to the guy has feasted on no hopers and has beens for quite a while, while Ward has taken on and beaten the best in the world an made it look easy. People who expect Bute to beat Ward should revaluate the way they look at talent in the sport today. Ward is so much better and complete than Bute that it's not even funny and it's easy to see.

Well i'm Bute fan and I tried to be objective and not be mega bias with Bute.

If Ward is from another league , why he struggled with guys like Bika and Miranda ?? Bute has beaten them from miles more convincingly than Ward.
Please rewatch these fights again ( Bute/Ward vs Bika / Miranda ) and see if Andre Ward is such a "G" .
Please don't "style make fights" bul**** me .

Ward is too fast and slick (well, 50%).

    Good all rounder is Ward.

All I'm saying here is Wards an exceptional fighter, and Bute isn't what he's made out to be. Bute is a pretty good fighter, don't get me wrong.

    He's just not THAT good.

Ward knows his boxing. It is why he doesn't want to fight someone who is considered the #2 but who doesn't diserve the shot even though that would represent a lot of money. It is why Bute should fight some elite fighter like Froch. But, in that particular case, Ward, who knows his stuff, really think Froch should not fight Bute now but fight some other guy to reestablish himself. In that case scenario, Ward, who understands the boxing world, would manage for a couple of years to avoid any of Bute's liver shot.

Ward is a smart guy. What brings Bute to the table at this point other than unification and a lot of money? The only thing he brings after all is his liver shot. And few big left hook and uppercut to the head that knocks people out. The only thing that Bute brings, other than unification and a lot of money, is the highest KO% in the division. People who think that Bute diserve a shot are just dellusionnal and should learn by listenning to Ward and repeating like parrot what he says. Ward knows his stuffs and just won't fight Bute until he his at least 36.

Ward can fight at all ranges and adjust on the fly and is a complete fighter. Is Bute?
