So do you think Brinkley was a top fighter when he was the #1 SMW and was mandatory for Butes IBF strap?

The only thing Joe.Boxer runs is a whorehouse, with his mother the only employee. :smoke

you said b-hop was the number 1 mw in the world.

    he wasn't.

he was just the guy ranked number 1 contender by the ibf.

Well Bute was the champ in the Jones Hopkins fight the title was vacant ..Really stop with your foolishness !

But you know whats funny is that you will use this same logic to justify all of Joe's opponenets and write 3 page responses trying to justify them ..Tell me then if Hopkins was not the number 1 middleweight going into the Jones fight and after who then was? And who actually stayed long enough in the division to make that claim ??

er...if b-hop ain't number at the end of 1992...& he ain't number 1 at the end of 1993...& he wasn't really close to number 1 in either & the same guys are above him in both...

that would seem to indicate he wasn't number 1 at any time during 1993.

edit: sorry he had that win over gilbert baptiste that would have catapulted him straight to the top of everyones rankings & above all the incumbent champions to become the undisputed greatest mw in the world...

    wbc champ mcclennan?

    wba champ reggie johnson?

b-hop was not the number 1 mw in the world.

This was for the IBF but then again we are grasping at straws Because they announced Jones at # 2 the same link you posted had Jones # 1 ..But he remained the top middle after the Jones fight ..He was rankd and had 1 more fight than Jones .So the whole myth that he was green is nonsense considering he didn't lose again for over a decade .

those are ring rankings. take em or leave em. i don't particularly trust them because i think they are biased towards us based fighters...but that doesn't make a difference in this case. b-hop is american & based in america & still not even in the top 5.

question for you tho: according to who was b-hop the number 1 mw in the world...being more highly rated that the actual champions in the division?

i'd be interested to know. cos frankly; it seems like you're just chatting ****.

For the IBF vacant strap they announced Hopkins the # 1 ranked contender and the # Jones the # 2 ! Your links had Jones at # 1 and Hopkins around 8 and yet you want me to take em or leave them ? Sounds like im dealing with another boxing rec slave ..

And to answer your similar stupid question just asked by another br slave ,No I would not rate a contender over a champ ..But like I pointed out to him I will do the same for you there fight was for a vacant title !

I think its obvious who's talking the **** here !:good

    yeah. you.

you said b-hop was the "number 1 middleweight in the world going into the jones fight".

he wasn't. he was the number 1 contender for the ibf title. bit different. glad that's cleared up.

    :hi:
