    Round 2

Almaraz is stringing several jabs together, but not very sharp with them and backing up as he throws. Ugas claps him in the face with a right hand and keeps stalking patiently, avoiding the flow of double and triple jabs and looking to time his own to shoot the gap. Just a smattering of right hands, only thrown when in range. A pair of jabs snap Almaraz's head back before his feet can follow. Almaraz leaps out to his left and they trade soft slapping temple hooks while he's in midair. Chopping short right by Ugas behind a jab, countering a thrust from Almaraz. More double jabs by Almaraz circling left and hoisting his arms up and down, still looking uncomfortably wound up.

    20-17 Ugas

Don't remember the last time I've seen a prospect jabbing to the body this much

    Pepsi.

    Someone neglected to restock booze.

I don't know. Maybe the reserves can provide. :think There is some chilled Goldschlager...and a nice smoky single malt in the pantry.

    Round 3

Ugas jabs from the outside, mostly to the faraway stomach of Almaraz. He's landing, though. Long arms and good snap on the jab, and he's curling himself down and forward into it while still keeping an alert watch on Almaraz and moving his head enough to not get caught with anything while working. More nice jabs to the body by Ugas, and now a right hand downstairs as well. Almaraz is just popping out his high double jabs and missing, then blocking in his tense shell while shuffling around. Here's a couple of spirited left hooks to the hip by Almaraz, but they don't slow Ugas and just serve to throw the former US Marine off balance. Ugas blocks his high jabs and responds with his own down low.

    30-26 Ugas

Ugas is impressive though, even though his legs look like Lindsay Lohan's.

    30-26

Now mixing in the right hands to the body, last big one seemed to bother Almaraz.

Teddy is out of his ****ing mind giving Almaraz that round.

I don't know if he actually did, but with thirty seconds left he said he was "damn close to winning it". (he wasn't)

Looking more game and aggressive, yes. Almaraz round? Hell no.

    Eh......you're in good shape.

Gonna have me some beer this evening or maybe back to the gin and tonic. Haven't decided yet.

Ugas just punched the Virgin Mary in the chops.

Agreed. Almaraz looks game too. Not a bad fight. Clearly better than last weeks main event.
