    Round 4

Hard down-jabs by Ugas. Almaraz whacks him with a few hooks to the hip while bent over to his side as he circles, gaining confidence in that attack. Ugas is just spearing away with jabs and straight rights to the body while lunging forward in a squat. Almaraz dives atop him in a near-clinch and lets loose with several uppercuts, all arm punches and mostly not making any contact at all or brushing off his shoulder as Ugas rolls. Ugas is grinning as Almaraz has several jabs and crosses blocked. Ugas tiptoes in and throws a long right hand over the top, then steps back to reduce the pace back to a crawl. Jab and overhand right land for Ugas from outside as Almaraz keeps flicking away with plucky little straight combos.

    40-35 YU

Too bad no Shobox tonight though. Figueroa last weekend was the MVP.

    Round 5

Almaraz is pumping his 1-2 with bad intentions, but Ugas is slipping it with a sideways dip and roll of his shoulder and head. Good body shots by Ugas in between Almaraz's attacks. Ugas is landing and blocking. Almaraz is a bit busier, putting in some yeoman's work but coming up with little to show for it. Almaraz lands one partially blocked hook to the top of the head as Ugas ducks behind his right glove during a lull. Jab to the body and face by Ugas. Jab to the face, right to the belly by Ugas.

    50-44 Ugas

    50-44 Ugas

Jab seems to be snapping Almaraz's head back with more effect now
