12 lbs? wtf is that that's not even in the ballpark, he might as well try 170 again, at least he came closer to that amount. And he should have a clause in his contract if he misses weight again (no excuses) he's done.
Because Vitor will be fighting Wanderlei next and will crush him for the last time, I don't want to see that. And I don't know, something inside me just picked Rumble over Belfort.
If you win a fight when you don't make weight then imo the record books should classify it as a no contest.
For anthony, he's holding a lot of water. He's usually very ripped. That said, the mans not lazy, he's a great athlete. He's being fed to the lions in this fight though. Way too under-experienced to fight Vitor.
If it were up to me, his next fight would be in Strikeforce. This is too much of a colossal ****-up to excuse. To me, this fight's a No-Contest already.
Call me crazy, but he looks really ripped at 197. Dude is sporting a crazy 8 pack like he's been drained completely.
You can tell from Fertittas face he already knew. I'm quite good at lip reading and I could lip read that after he weighed in Dana was saying he had to weigh 205 the next day. So I'm 100% that the UFC already knew. I don't care if he couldn't feel his legs, that is the sort of **** a weight cut does to you. Someone needs to research what a weight cut does to you. You cannot tell me that losing 20 pounds 24 hours prior to arguably the hardest athletic competition has not some detrimental effect. I can see for my own eyes fighters gassing, looking weak, less punch resistance etc Funny how the commissions want to protect the fighters from steroids but not something so widely accepted as cutting weight. Cutting weight tends to either be terrible for the fighter OR the opponent should the fighter a big weight advantage and remain healthy after the cut.
Lorenzo looks pissed in that photo! Rumble better win in impressive fashion or he might not fight on a main event card again for years. Unfortunately he's fighting Vitor in Brazil. That mother****er makes atmospheres!!! Rumble will not win tonight!
I just mean compared to him before. He's a lil smoother, holding water for him. But yea, he's still ripped.
