I disagree. Cotto, Hatton, DLH, Clottey and Marquez ALL weren't easy options if you remember the talks before the fights. Fact is, if Arum has other options he doesn't need to make Pacquiao fight Mayweather and risk losing. Why risk it with Mayweather when they could fight someone else or someone in his stable?, that way Arum wins all the way whoever loses. That said, I don't think this fight will ever happen. If it was going to happen it should have been announced by yesterday. The longer time they take the more bull**** they plan to gather to use as an excuse to cancel the fight and look elsewhere.

in theory what youre saying is true.

problem is floyds been calling out pac for a while. now you might say well its all posturing in a public sphere and floyds just bluffing but pacman didnt even do that. if pac was interested in the fight why didnt he pursue it more and call out floyd every chance he got?

On a serious note, Pac the fighter has gone, Pac the polititian and the cash Cow has took his place.

Pac isnt giving 100% to the sport no more, he booked a concert to sing the night of Marquez fight, like what the hell!!?. He just isn't taking the sport seriously, and would rather be fed easy oponents, because its more conviniant for his life style now.
