Liakovich is way above the LOC that Arreola is looking for. NTM, there probably aint 50K to be made and Nipples don't fight for less unless it's his show.

According to Dan Rafael, Chambers replacement will be Oleg Platov.

  5. Chambers is mentally weak, and now physically. I think he should bow out of the spot light and make room for the Kevin Mitchell's of the world.

Did you see that KO Wladimir gave Chambers? The poor guy was knocked unconscious standing on his feet!
Few get over a punch like that....

Platov vs Liahovich for the USA return of network boxing? I believe it because this is boxing. People need to get their head out of their arses. Everyone is blaming Eddie but a card scheduled for network TV needs to have some dudes lined up in advance for short notice. This is Bull**** that a card like this will go down and nobody will benefit from the exposure. It will dud on TV as well. Arseholes!

Again I don't think overall its a bad match up but I do agree with on this..two non Americans boxing each other on a U.S. (which never happens) network...that just doesn't compute...who would tune into that?

At least with Eddie Chambers it could be: top US contender vs former champ. Is Eddie the hope for America? (or something like that)

Platov v. Lyakhovich...You couldn't really sell this fight now though

I will still tune in. Boxing on a U.S. network will be interesting and I think it can still be a good match up

Oleg's had a problem with his manager, who wasn't getting him fights. Lyakhovich used to have the same manager, Boris Grinberg, and likewise was kept inactive for long stretches of time.

Platov looked the best I've ever seen him in his last fight against Gbenga Oloukun.

Everyday peoples probably dont know who he is your right....but if NBC is gonna sell this fight and garner viewers then it would be easier with an American hopeful instead of two Euro guys
