You're not a true boxing fan if you're in favor of delaying a may vs pac fight

I see plenty of people arguing that it makes sense to move the date further into May or June. Some even say they should wait until the fall :)patsch)

Some agree with Arum that a bigger arena is needed and that in itself is a valid reason to postpone the fight.

I however argue that you cannot be a true boxing fan if you don't want to see this fight asap. True fans want to see the best face the best, and for the past 2-3 years it's been clear that it means a Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao showdown.

To us it shouldn't matter about their revenues, egos(who the hell cares who dictates negotiations ?), or any of this bureaucratic red tape. As a true fan we shouldn't be picking sides from a business stand point, but from a boxing one.

As a true boxing fan I am so bored with Mayweather and Pacquaio being uttered in the same sentence that I don't care if this fight ever happens. Its sell-by date has expired. Plus, Pac gets schooled badly. Any 'true' boxing fan should be able to see this.

I'am not fussed either way now, should have been 12 months ago at the latest & now it's got all the makings of a very big anti-climax. I can't see it happening even if Pac sez lets do May 5th. We all know that the mayweather camp are going to scupper this fight one way or another & they'll have Uncle Bob as the inside man. There's just to many vultures involded who'll become redundent straight after this fight.

I just want that Pac and Floyd somehow lose their fights so this place can return to normal. Now it is taken hostage by 20 nuthuggers of the two camps

It would be funny if the fight, if it happened, ended in a draw.

Newb comes on here and defines "true boxing fan" for us. Just what we needed. I don't need anyone to define what makes me a fan of boxing regardless. I have my own reasons and I'm ALLOWED top have my own criteria. Not having it provides me with more fun pointing out to *******s and *****s the gaping holes in their fan boy logic. If the fight ever happens I'll lose that enjoyment of shooting fish in a barrel.
