Fights that need HL vids because you'd only ever watch a HL of that fight...

The YouTube brethren are always making Highlight packages of great fights. Why? I'll watched Duran-Leonard and Marquez-Vasquez III 25 times in my life or something. On the other hand, I just watched Ali-Wepner. That's thte last time I'll ever watch that fight. Just not going to ever sit through the whole thing again. Won't happen.

But it does have its moments, the Ali jab, the KD, the rabbit-punch fiasco, the honesty in Wepner's trying. Someone should really make a HL vid of that fight. I would love that.

What fights that you'll likely never sit through again would you like to see HL packages made up for? What are the moments from these fights that are worth revisiting?

Leonard-Duran III. I sat through it once fully and didn't find it as bad as others say it was, but I still doubt I'll ever rewatch it in full again.

    hmmm...

hagler-duran (not the worst fight, i quite enjoyed it but could be encompassed in a HL)
    pep-angott
jones-toney (which is saying something for me)
hopkins-joppy (wait, i never DID sit through and watch the whole thing)

Why not do it Tommy? You have the ability.

Man, Toney-Jones? I love watching that fight. Mesmerising. I probably seen that fight as much as any other.

I don't highlight fights so much anymore, but that would be an ideal pick. another one would be Tyson-Smith.

I could see a big Toney fan not wanting to see it twice, it's an absolute schooling. Perhaps a full on Jones detractor too.

Great fight for the rest tho, incredible display.

Quartey-De La Hoya would be a good one.

It featured two classic rounds (6 and 12) which make some people think it was a classic but the rest was very technical and not all that exciting though still entertaining enough.

It wouldn't hurt anyone to watch just the exciting bits of it in an easy five minute package on youtube though.

But think about it from the highlight creators point of view. Who wants to scroll through Ali-Wepner a hundred plus times.

it is and i'm a MASSIVE jones fan. maybe not the best choice but i was leaning towards it being in the "not terribly entertaining and a bit repetitive" category. every round is a virtual mirror of the previous, jones totally dominating with speed and reflexes. might have to rethink it as a choice though

One cool highlight from Ali's boring fights from the 70's.

Calzaghe-Hopkins (tho tbh I think you`d struggle to find more than 3 mins of decent material, terrible fight considering the quality of both men)
