The Super middleweight division is looking very weak

    Good post, Calzaghe and Ottke have done more than anyone today, but I wasnt really looking at the top 5 more the bottom half and once again good post.
    here you have Hilton who won a SMW world title, Thobela who did also, Catley who also won a SMW world title, Mitchell who did also and Butler who I never rated but did have some solid wins, that is far greater than Oousthuizen whos biggest win is Pryor Jnr, Groves whos is Degale, Bika who cant win a SMW title, Abraham who has done nothing at SMW and Johnson who has lost more SMW fights than he has won and DeGale who lost to Groves.

    Just keep the rest of the thread handy, so that it will be completely honest.

    As said (and you can keep this one also) it was a good post. You fell into the trap and got swallowed

    SMW division is good division with talented fighters . They had an exciting tournament , which could be an good exemple to follow for other divisions. Small divisions are full of **** politics and very greedy promoters !!!

    Thomas Oosthuizen , George Groves and James DeGale don't deserve to be in the top 10 Ring Magazine because they didn't fight with nobody.

    Stiegliz could be imo ranked as No 9 or 10 but not as No 4 ! I would like to see a fight between Sakio Bika vs Robert Stieglitz or Bika vs Abraham ...... it would be very interesting.

    They left out the Dirrell bro's, or guys like Edison Miranda and Allan Green. Any of these guys would be champion.

    have you heard the one where Failey says Froch beating Pascal meant nothing because he never did anything at supermiddleight....but gives joe calzaghe credit for beating Peter ****ing Manfredo.....and get this....because he just beat an undefeated..Joey spina.....
    so even when ward faced abraham who was "coming off a loss" to a top5 guy...manfredo is a better opponent for joe...he was coming off a a win to an "undefeated" joey spina.

    Lets not try and tell lies. I noted that Manfredo had done more at SMW than Pascal. That is fact. It doesnt mean I rate one higher than the other, but you have to look at what a fighter does in a division.

    You have self pwned again here as you call Dirrell top 5 but his biggest win coming in against Abraham was Oganov :lol:. Great feat.

    Now tell me what have DeGale, Oousthuizen and Groves done to be top 10?

    Well this shows again how little you know.
    Andre Dirrells biggest win is arguably Oganov. Not exactly world beating is it.
    Anthony Dirrell hasnt fought anyone and has done less than Groves or DeGale, and you think Miranda and Green should be top 10 now :lol:. Green got beaten by Johnson who has lost more at SMW than hes won, but keep going :oops:
