Its easy to disect Froch after he fought all these guys ,its harder to disect Bute because he's yet to fight an elite level fighter ..

A fighter looks great if he always fights above his comp ..Much diffrent in Froch's case ..All of Bute's timing and reflexes will get tested with a much better fighter in Froch who at least has a better ring IQ then most of Bute's opponenets up until this point !

Well , indeed , i'm agree with you . After we will see Bute fighting with "A" fighters as ( ward, froch and kessler ) , we can see how good Bute is or how overrated is .

Also Bute didn't fight only with low top fighters , Andrade was ranked as No 5 i think when he fought against him. Sakio Bika is ranked as No 5 , same Johnson , is No 8 ..... in the Ring Magazine ratings.

Even though the guys mentioned were tough no one was considering them elite .Here is something else I don't hear from allot of fans today talking about ,its the trainers .McKrackin is one hell of a trainer !

I beleive he can come up with a proper stragedy to nuetralize Bute's speed .Im lookin at this fight like Mosely (Bute) vs Forrest (Froch) if Froch can controll Bute with his jab and range its going to be a long night for Lucian ..We all now know Froch's weaknesses thanks to the show cases he recently put on but no one is pin pointing on Bute's ..Except for McKrackin right now ..:bbb

Bute is a fragile flower who's been feasting on no-hopers for his last 4 years as "champion", his best win was before he was even a champion.

With all that said, I think Froch will win a competetive decision, he might get shafted in Montreal.

Who said Froch was a devastating puncher? I dont see it , as a matter of fact, he got a flush freegie on Ward and Ward didnt even blink. Fact is, Bute is an all around better fighter / boxer than Froch. Thats why he beats him.

I favor Bute in this one. Froch is just too open for counters. However, Bute's defense is poor so it could be interesting.

Bute's defense looked far more solid than Froch's against Johnson few months apart.

I don't think much of Froch's defense either hence why I said he's open for counters.

My point is that Bute is there to be hit but to his credit you could say opponents aren't always willing to take that risk because he has that deadly left counter.

Chances are Bute had already figured out Johnson from the first round being that they had 80-90 rounds of sparring or whatever and Johnson knew it and wasn't really willing to take risks. He's never been in the ring with Froch and from my observation it usually takes Bute 4-6 rounds to start figuring things out.

Like I said many times before...Froch or Ward will not fight Bute at 168 lbs.

The thing is we know how good Froch is, we have seen him against the best inthe division, we know his strengths and his weaknesses. We cant say the same about Bute, who has been one of the more protected belt holders of recent years.

My feeling is if it turns into a brawl, Froch edges it on a close decision, if it is fought on the outside then Bute could edge it on a close decision.

Not many points for comparison indeed. I know it's a flawed triangle theory considering Johnson fights nothing like Bute nor Froch, but Mr Cobra got sparked decently by the Road Warrior in rounds 7 & 8 of their fight where as Bute earned Johnson's respect early landing a few meaningful power shots on Glen between R1 and R4. Doesn't mean much, but it gives you somewhat of an idea of who's defense + offensive approach is the more robust of the two.
