Adam Courtney (red) v Keith FlavinNine finals were completed at the National Stadium in Dublin today.

The Riverstown BC in Cork experienced mixed fortunes this morning and afternoon with David Roche capping a fine tournament with victory over Dylan Moran, but his club-mate Eugene Brady, who had to retire with a shoulder injury in the third, lost out to the impressive Kurt Walker.

The all-Dublin final went the way of John Joe McDonagh, who beat George Boylan 24-17 in a high-scoring light-heavyweight decider.

Ryan Dervan (blue) v Geoffrey Kavanagh
Chris Nevin, meanwhile, had five points to spare over Sean Higginson when the bell for the conclusion of their 56Kg final tolled.

Keith Flavin got today's proceedings underway with a 17-12 victory over Adam Courtney, followed by Dylan Carr's 26-11 decision over Hugh Nevin.

Noel Murphy claimed Cork's second win of the day, a 10-6 verdict over Jason McDonagh completing the double for Leeside.

Ryan Dervan and and Geoffrey Kavanagh were involved in the closest three-rounder of the session, Dervan having his hand raised in triumph 11-10 following a see-saw middleweight encounter.

Unsure what nationality Macklin is? Aside from Macklin going overboard to prove his nationality which I personal dont think he needs to ever do it a good interview and there are other good videos on that channel.
